Pew Die Pie is not that bad!

Pew Die Pie is one of those Youtubers who tries to make us laught due to his popularity. (That why he often Re-does his vids to please this fans) Not only that, he has a life, A girlfriend,a job and even a DOG!

He also does videos for fun and that's how he rose to fame, his Subs grow almost evey second! (Go to his channel and Click Refreash every so often). he was VOTED to become KING of the web (A.K.A the internet)

Sure he swears alot, But look at Mario Teh Plumber's Videos and rants about him and try to compare the maturity.

His fans are ever so growing and praise him for Pew Die caring about him and every Weekend Pewds make a vid to please and thank his fans.

For you Pew Die Pie haters, try and prove 6 mil. people wrong...he DOES have a heart and cares for his Fandom.

I recommend him to Teens and Adults for Funny humor. (Remember: Not all jokes are funny but no one can perfect it...)

Also, you should give him credit. He read a paragraph of Fifty Shades of Grey .

I don't really think this is a review. More like a comment on how much you love Pewdie.

That said, I don't think people hate Pewdiepie himself, they hate his fanbase. Given that said fanbase tend to troll the comments of any other known gamers videos, this is understandable.

Speak for yourself, Asger. I hate Pewdiepie. Or rather, the show, the persona he adopts and the things he says. For all I know, he's a perfectly reasonable guy when he isn't screaming for money. Can't say I'm acquainted with his fanbase.

As for the review...popularity has never been a good gauge of quality. Pewdiepie is proof of this, and so is Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey. You can refer to popularity by all means, but describe his other qualities.

Book me today! I also review weddings, funerals and bar mitzvahs.

He read a paragraph of Fifty Shades of Grey .

A paragraph is nothing. Better people have done entire readings.

This has got to be the most inept defense of anything ever.

"Not only that, he has a life, A girlfriend,a job and even a DOG!" - How is this relevant to his qualification as an entertainer?

"he was VOTED to become KING of the web (A.K.A the internet)" - He has a huge fanbase AND won a popularity contest? Oh wow, those two can't possibly be related. Also, you know that contest happens on a regular basis right? There are tons of youtubers with that title.

"For you Pew Die Pie haters, try and prove 6 mil. people wrong..." - Logical fallacy, specifically Appeal To Popularity.

This is not a review, no matter how much you stretch the term 'review'. This is a glorified You Tube comment.

Ordinarily, I'd want "reviews" like these to be removed, but this is such an unintentionally-hilarious encapsulation of the Pewdiepie fanbase that it should stay up.

Hear that? He even has a DOG!

YOLOSwag - don't revive a badly done review just to act like a douche. This revival adds nothing, not even a comment about the quality of the "review" - it exists solely to generalize a fanbase in an effort to portray them all as mouth-breathing, mindless drones in a smug, self-serving way. There are idiots who act like this and go further to look like asses, but saying this glorified youtube comment "encapsulates the Pewdiepie fanbase" is wrong.

Pull your head out of your ass.

Do you even know what you're talking about or are you too busy making a reactionary, sanctimonious rant? I didn't "revive" a damn thing.

Find it highly suspicious, though, that it didn't even take 24 hours for somebody to rush to the "defense" of this. Got a vested interest in this particular review, do we?

McSomeguy Since: Dec, 2010

Well, you did revive it, as in, you brought it back to the top of the first page. The last comment before yours was over a month ago.

Really? That's what he's crying about? That it's on top of two other reviews, which altogether don't even fill up a monitor screen? SERIOUSLY?!

kay4today Since: Jan, 2011

Didn't you know? Reviving a review is serious business and your comment adds nothing to this review! It's even worse because this review is so thought-provoking and not at all silly and easily mockable. Nooooooope.

All I'm saying is that this review should have stayed buried. It contributes nothing; it's mindless praise, and even then it's nothing about his ability as a Let's Player or as an entertainer. I'll admit I enjoy Pewdiepie every now and again; he's alright in small doses. But I found this a plain horrible excuse for a review.

The thing is, it DOES show the more unflattering side of the guy's viewers: it's simple, unabashed praise, no criticism or opinion of his work. the goal of this? To try and "prove" that Pewdiepie isn't so bad. But they seem to have missed that people don't always go after the guy because he's apparently a horrible person; they go after him because they don't like the quality of his work. As such, it comes off as extremely irrelevant - and with all the irrelevant details, the whole thing comes off as simple-minded, one-track drivel.

When an extremely biased opinion like this makes it onto the Reviews page, people jump on and make a spectacle of it. Whether it be the common Bible reviews which always seem to end with religious arguments regardless of the content of the review, or a positive review of something considered negative (and vice versa) - Tropers jump on and insult the work, insult the reviewer, and the bloody thing becomes anarchy.

This is one of the awful, biased reviews/opinions which got some heat when it appeared on here. But there wasn't a big Bro Army/Hater fight. The review died quietly without becoming a spectacle. There was one positive comment, the rest were varyingly negative towards the guy - but before a real Fan Hater or True Fan came across it and raised all hell, the review mercifully died a quiet death.

Your comment came almost 2 months after the review lost activity. More than that, it seems like its sole purpose was to provoke a fan or people who dislike Pewdiepie into taking action. Rather than pick apart the review, or make your case as to why you dislike Pewdiepie, it was a simple jab at all fans, crazy or not, with a smug air about it. More likely than not, it'd spark more unneeded attention to this unflattering, useless, redundant pile of a review.

I felt your comment was unneeded. You're generalizing a whole bunch of people as being as stupid as this one reviewer; that's likely to start a fight when a fan comes along.

(and yeah, I do realize I'm sort of embodying that right now. I'm trying to reduce potential conflict, but I'm creating conflict at the same time.)

I didn't realise there was a statute of limitations for commenting on reviews.

And this might be news to you, but criticism isn't by-default an invitation for fan backlash. Reactions from "THE BRO ARMY" were & still are the last thing I'd be concerned with.

Sorry mate I can't hear you, you're voice if muffled due to you're head being so far up you're arse. But seriously you're argument is that bad? "(That why he often Re-does his vids to please this fans)" that just means he can't think of anything new. Why should we give him credit for reading one paragraph of possibly the worst piece of modern literature? You can't say Mario teh plumber is any less mature than pewdiepie, his comedy quote unquote is pandering to the Lowest Common Denominator he just says things that a three year old would say he rely's on screaming like a baby disgusting jokes and the oldest dullest catchphrases there is absolutely no wit or intelligence. I just wan't all the flame wars to stop if you like him you like him if you hate him you hate him just don't go around the internet acting like a fool saying things like this.

PS: By the way I'm not defending or hating on anyone I just don't like the way (some not all) his fans treat him like some sort of god my opinion is that he is not funny to any intellectuals and his 8 million subscribers just proves that a majority of the the youtube community is the lowest of the cultural brows. And besides how can he be the best lets player if he won't stop screaming and talking in the cutscenes? I know this is dragging on a bit now but you might not know this there is an actual mental sickness that applies to people that think inanimate objects have feelings and personalities.

If you want Pew Die Pie flame wars to stop, I would advise you not to start a comment with 'I'm not hating on anyone' and go on to explain that his 8 million subscribers are all lowest common denominator idiots with no capacity for intellectual thought.

Dude, an internet celebrity shouldn't need creepy fanboys like you who watch every single video he posts to defend him. He's a human being like the rest of us, and he can defend himself just find by posting his own videos. Even DSP has taken it into his own hands to clash with his criticisms head-on instead of ignoring them.

Also, either work on your spelling, or post this on a Youtube video.

Yes, I am the guy who refused to call Magikarp Power "not worth the effort"
