What exactly makes Pagan Min Camp Straight? He is Agent Peacock all right, has some quirks that befit his role as an affably evil antagonist (in the vein of Jackal and especially Vaas Montenegro from previous installments) but his choice of clothing evokes more a pimp or playboy [1] than a camp gay. There is nothing homosexual about him.

[1] Also note strong Nepalese/Indian influence on the region - flamboyant colours are much more popular there that in the relatively conservative Western World (with the possible exception of the 1970s).

Yuma is considered a Complete Monster (at least for now) on the YMMV page, but she's mentioned under Sympathy for the Devil. Obviously we can just remove her from that...

My alternative take:

Sympathy for the Devil: Essentially every villain in the game, with the exception of Yuma. Pagan Min was driven insane when Mohan murdered his infant daughter and caused his lover to flee, just hearing Paul begging for Ajay to give him his phone so he could talk to his daughter is gut-wrenching, and Noore was made the mistress of the Arena to save her family only to found out her family was killed years ago and commits suicide.

P.S. But it's Cry for the Devil that's the Audience Reaction, while Sympathy for the Devil is more in-universe, so can it be said that the writers tried invoking that trope with Yuma, but failed and now she's a CM?

I'm a bit dubious on the Translation Convention entry. Everyone speaks English in Kyrat, true, but India, Nepal and Pakistan have very high rates of English fluency. It's not inconceivable that everyone IS speaking English there.

Also, note that when Rabi Ray Rana is speaking to Chotu, he speaks to Chotu in Hindi. Likewise, Kalinag's segments are spoken in untranslated Hindi.
