Thinking about cutting the player character's folder and migrating all good examples here, as a game-given possibility in the setting for the main page rather than the attributes of a single character. Right now, the section is awash with partial-context examples and happenstance entries external to the work (like Action Girl).
Pulled:
- Nightmare Face/Slasher Smile/Fangs Are Evil: The Exceptional Rose is suggested to have this. A snippet on the sidebar reads, "It carries on top a remarkable bloom. This remains tightly in bud, except for a day in late winter, when the flower opens to reveal, nestling in gorgeous red petals, a little child's face. It looks very darling, until it smiles."
because you're only supposed to have one trope per entry, per Good Style. I'll let someone else sort out how to fix this one.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Tempted to do some major trimming sometime soon. Some examples I'm seeing could stand to be a lot more concise and less gushy/rambling.
My first launched Trope!I'm thinking of adding the player character's aunt to the character page. Will file it under "Unaffiliated" - there ARE some weird minor fate-locked things, though (from the continuation) which are more funny than anything else. Given the no-info-on-fate policy, though, I'm unsure what to do with those parts of it (same issue as the previous discussion point regarding the Lady in Lilac, I suppose). In this case, should I just list all the tropes that show up before that quality hits (locked) level 9?
My first launched Trope!Dunno if anyone still comes and edits this page, but...how are we going to handle the bits about the Lady in Lilac?
Hide / Show RepliesI think you'll have to explain a bit more clearly what the problem is. I can't find anything.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHow should we handle The Silver Tree (and other possible future Tales of Fallen London)? Should it get its own page? (And what of notable StoryNexus worlds, for that matter?)
Edited by FoolsEditAccount Hide / Show Repliesthird party Story Nexus games should get their own pages. Possibly with a story nexus subindex in the web original index.
According to this Reddit post spoilers for the Discordance, Enigma, Secrets Framed in Gold, Where You and I Must Go and the later stages of the Seeking storyline are now allowed, but under general spoiler tags and such.
