Does anyone think Huey Freeman from The Boondocks would qualify as a Downplayed example of a Spicy type towards Jazmine? He's cold, stoic, cynical and harsh to almost everyone and usually doesn't seem to care about anyone outside his immediate family (Riley and Grandpa) unless they're part of his latest crusade, but Jazmine is the only character he ever softens up for, often going out of his way to look out for her ("The Block is Hot" or "The Fried Chicken Flu" among others), allows her to hug him when she's distressed ("A Date with the Health Inspector") and after being cold to her earlier in "Wingmen" before going back to Chicago, he admits that he "maybe" missed her when they reunite at the end and seems embarrassed by her affectionate teasing But I'm not sure if he'd be this, or Kuudere.
Always expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised.
