A request; Since Ponibooru is No More, is there any chance to change the image links over to Derpibooru? It'd be nice to see what some of these are talking about.
I imagine this would be a fairly large undertaking, because there are a lot of orphaned links here.
Has anyone figured out what going on with hottip? Is it just a temporary formatting error or has something changed?

Does anybody know what the deal is with Bronycon and spaghetti? Is that a new meme that hasn't been mentioned here yet? I've been seeing those inside jokes all over the place, but I couldn't find a clear explanation.

Has it actually been confirmed that ONLY the iTunes version of The Last Roundup will include the edited Derpy scene? The most I've heard on the subject is that Hasbro said that that was the only *episode* that was edited, they didn't narrow it down to only that version. Yes, the current DVD release is the original, but I haven't heard any specific news that reruns and future DVD releases will also be unedited.

I have a better suggestion for the page image - a screenshot of the 20% Cooler moment from this commercial, as its a great example of an Ascended Meme.
Yes, I believe that one would be better than the current one. The page won't have a hostile vibe that way.
Technically, it isn't an Ascended Meme, since "20% Cooler" originated from a line in the show.
It was a line said only once and used for an official commercial. By that definition DJ Pon3 isn't an Ascended Meme despite being namedropped in couple of commercials and appearing on a lot of shirts :P

According to the trope's article, an Ascended Meme is about a meme about the show that wasn't originally in there before but got popular so the makers of the show added it into the show itself.
"20% cooler" doesn't seem to be an Ascended Meme because it was already there to begin with. How many times the phrase itself has been uttered is inconsequential. By all definition the phrase is just a regular meme. However, if we examine it further, you will find that the original phrase was actually "It needs to be about 20% cooler". The meme phrase itself seems to be "[X] is now 20% cooler" and other variants. Basically it's a sort of mutation of the original phrase. The use of "20% cooler" in other various sentence forms especially if it's used as a Running Gag in the show itself will only then it become an Ascended Meme.
"DJ Pon3" is technically not a full fledged Ascended Meme as of yet because the name itself hasn't been incorporated in the show itself. As of now the name only pops up in commercials of the show* and second party merchandise* so this one in a sort of meme limbo between a regular meme and an Ascended Meme. The same could be said to the "20% cooler" meme.
In other words, the traits and qualities of both memes are all inconclusive to validate both as true Ascended Memes.

Seeing that the page keeps growing, I think we should start cathegorizing the memes depending on some criteria - for easier navigation. My proposition is to divide them into: Characters and reinterpretations; Quotes (further divided into quotes, BMU Scotties, possibly Exploitable images/reactions if small enough?); Show/Merch-based (Voice actors, errors); Crossover-based memes and crossovers themselves. Of course this is open to discussion, I only wanted to show an idea that might help in keeping order on the page.

What? As cliche as it sounds, Pics or it didn't happen. I happen to go there quite often, and I've never seen anything more explicit than what you might find in a standard artist book. Wikipedia and imageshack also have pictures way worse than whatever you can find on Ponibooru. And seriously, did you actually talk with anyone, like a moderator, before you went on your crusade of justice?
Oh, and I checked. Underage porn is against the rules, so not only are you wrong, you just lobotomized several pages. I don't know what bad apple you found, but you should probably look into things a bit more before flying off the handle.
