Looking at this page... it's painfully stupid. Instead of demonstrating The Law of Diminishing Defensive Effort, the examples fit better under Punch Punch Uh Oh or The Worf Barrage.
The law itself is essentially saying "The Best Defense is an Unrelenting Offense", and is the underlying principals behind Glass Cannons, some Fragile Speedsters, Spam Attacks, The Berzerker, and Zerg Rushing in some Strategy games or objective-based RTS.
Most of the examples here are trying to be "Nigh-Invulnerable, but with a Weak Point. Can we please return to the trope itself, and not the stupid not-corrolary? Fitting quote: "It's hard to punch someone when they have their fist in your face."
Nigh-Invulnerability and Shooting Superman are completely unrelated tropes.
