Is this an Unbuilt Trope? I mean, Eeyore himself doesn't think he's sad... is he deconstructing his own trope—where looking sad isn't the same as being sad?

He may not think himself as sad, but considering he's practically the original emo...no, this isn't an unbuilt trope.

Eeyore thinks he's sad all right. He often complains of being miserable. He's just passive-aggressive about it.
