Po8: Deleted "Charlie Brown in Peanuts, who is a Genre Blind Author Avatar." Quite aside from questions of his Author Avatar or even Genre Blind status, Charlie Brown is eternally as hopeful and upbeat as someone beat down by society and fate can be. No Eeyore would keep queueing up to kick that football, or accept 5¢ psychiatric advice, or try to win the next baseball game. Bah.
