I think we ought to have Statler and Waldorf visit this page. They could say something about how the clowns on this page aren't nearly as bad as the clowns they have to put up with.
No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet. Hide / Show Replies...Should I just put it in myself, then?
No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet.I think there's a case of Square Peg Round Trope on this page. Ludwig von Tokkentakker from CarnEvil is listed on this page. Am I the only one who thinks that he doesn't look like a clown at all?◊
I think that example should be removed.
No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet. Hide / Show RepliesWow, I forgot that I wrote that. As per Repair Dont Respond, I took action and removed that example long ago. Besides, the first trope I have launched, Repulsive Ringmaster, is far more fitting for Tokkentakker.
Edited by DrNoPuma No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet.Couldn't we have the Joker as the page's picture?
I am the lone wolf. I do not lead or follow. Hide / Show RepliesI agree. Other pages on this website go out of their way to describe Mr. J as "the original Monster Clown". Then why put that random clown there instead? I would much rather see the Joker and his Slasher Smile than that creepy, empty-eyed clown that currently provides the page image.
No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet.Well, this image works fine, so there's really no need to change it for the overused prince of crime.
Aye, plus Joker is well known for other things too.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCould the Ouchy the Clown entry be restored if the link is left out, or would the site sponsors get upset?
Hide / Show RepliesThe example entry wasn't removed by one of the "site sponsors", so yes, you can restore the entry. Dunno about the link - I didn't see anything NSFW on the linked page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis trope is, IMO, way overused in media. I have met one or two people in my life that are scared of clowns. In media, 80% of the population fear them.
Maybe I missed it, but Dimentio appears to be missing from the Video Games section.
Edited by MithrandirOlorinCut Natter RE Ouchy Clown:
- Am I the only one who thinks that that's the funniest tagline ever?
- You know what they say: If you can't beat them, fuck the clown.
- Doesn't he know that story doesn't end well.
"It" was a great story. No other evil clowns novels/films come to mind that were really any good despite how many there are. Captain Spaulding was a lot of fun I guess. Never found Rob's films to be all that scary.
I see I'm gonna have to teach you to be burnouts
