ABC Comedy Wednesdays include The Middle and Cougar Town in addition to Modern family. Although they don't include various types of families, they are all half hour sitcoms with rivalries within themselves in addition to the Parenthood]] / Modern Family rivalry. Then again, Modern Family seems to be adored by the network by having more advertising then the others.

Why haven't Family Guy and South Park been listed here? They're two of the biggest competitions i've known of.

Wouldn't Super Sentai and Kamen Rider qualify as Dueling Shows? I'm more familiar with Power Rangers myself, but apparently those two franchises are toku behemoths in Japan's long history of television (with Kamen Rider Decade and Samurai Sentai Shinkenger attempting to bridge the divide with a crossover, IIRC).
