Okay, so here's a proposal for dividing the character page into subpages:
- Characters.Sword Art Online Protagonists (Kirito and Asuna)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Aincrad (characters that were introduced in the Aincrad/SAO arc)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Fairy Dance (characters that were introduced in ALO
- Characters.Sword Art Online Phantom Bullet (characters that were introduced in GGO)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Project Alicization (the Alicization arc)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Arc Antagonists (the main villains of each arc; all spoilers will be unmarked)
I'm not sure where to put Yuuki in all of this, though. Are there many new characters in the Caliber Mother's Rosario arcs?
Now, before you ask why Sinon and Leafa are out of the main characters, it's because the focus is not on them until the beginning of their arcs. Simple as that.

Yuuki looks like the only new character introduced in her arc. I suggest putting her in the Aincrad section, since that's where her story takes place.
I wonder if it's better to categorize by game:
- Characters.Sword Art Online Main Characters (Kirito and Asuna)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Aincrad (characters originating from the SAO server)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Alfheim Online (characters originating fromthe ALO server)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Gun Gale Online (characters originating from the GGO server)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Underworld (characters originating from the Underworld server)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Arc Antagonists (the villains of each arc; some redirects from other pages might be necessary)
- Characters.Sword Art Online Others (real life characters like Seijuro, Nurse Aki)
That's probably feasible, though the Main Characters page sounds a bit thin with just Kirito and Asuna on it.

A lot of their tropes can be elaborated upon, which shouldn't be an issue.

Started to add Aliciazation characters. Starting slowly, will fill in more details (unless someone beats me to it :p) as they become published. Which is to say, much of this is based on the original web novels by Kawahara, from which the Dengeki novels are being published, so some of it may not be canonical. If anything gets contradicted in the later light novels, I will edit.
Also, I'm trying to avoid any mega spoilers that have yet to be published officially, spoiler tags or no. Anything juicy through vol 10 (as of this post), I'll cover w/spoiler tags, and there's a few things that sorta can't be helped, but for the most part, I'll add details as the books are released in Japan (again, unless others beat me to it).

They are there because some bullheaded tropers cannot even begin to adhere to Spoiler policy and Zero Context Example Administrivias. As long as you stay within those rules, you can uncomment them and add context.

Regarding main characters; exactly what qualifies one to be identified as an MC? I mean, for example, Yuuki is considered a main character but we never see her viewpoint and she is (sadly) only present in one volume, even if it is focused on her (and Asuna) while Eugeo appears in 6, with plenty of chapters in his POV, but he is in the UW residents folder instead.
Hey guys, can we slow down with the Character Specific Pages creation please. Tvtropes frowns upon unneeded character page creation and has purged pages that are too small before.
General guideline is, character pages need to be at least 6,000 words/40,000 bytes.
Yuuki’s page is 6100 words, which is just scraping it. She can stay for now unless mods/cleanup thread says otherwise, but just a heads up for us to chill a bit okay? Unless a page gives you the message that the page size limit has been exceeded.
EDIT: And her page got cut. So yeah, please don't be so hasty in page creation in the future.
