I've seen a few mentions about "Alternate Universe" for some doctors (eg. Frobisher's stories with Sixie taking place in alternate continuity than BF). There's no mention that I know of any part of BF being in an alternate continuity (other than Unbound, natch, and a few mentions by Gary Russel back when he was running the show). Nick Briggs seems pretty open to the idea it all being one continuous line. A confusing, twisty line, but a line.
Hide / Show RepliesI removed them because of the tiresome use of "Doctor Who canon", when Big Finish don't even own the show, they're licensees to Doctors 1-8, so they can't really give their stories "canonicity". I suppose we could say "Russell, when he was in charge, says they're alternate continuities, but post-2007 (or whenever he took over), Briggs says they're not".
Speaking of, apparently "Mary's Story" contradicts the insinuation (or "Zagreus" saying) that Big Finish's line is an alternate continuity to the Eighth Doctor Adventures. How would we approach that last paragraph in the Eighth Doctor's description?
So...is an entry already being written for recent Sixth Doctor Companion Flip, or should I write one up?
Hide / Show RepliesGo ahead and make one; it's better to have two versions than none, and they can be combined.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
Because the maximum character limit was exceeded a while ago, I've split the characters page into three separate pages according to TV Tropes guidelines. I used the same system that the character pages for the main TV series currently use.
I'm in the process of re-linking these three new pages accordingly all across the wiki, and fixing any linking/markup/etc. errors that I can find. I hope to be done by the end of today; if you find anything after that, please feel free to lend a helping hand. :)
