If Himaruya is planning on introducing more German states in the future, calling Prussia East Germany would hardly be accurate. Especially since Saxony (a canonly exist, but less known character) is also historically part of East Germany, if I'm not mistaken.
Finally canonized by the latest blog post, I believe. "After the German unification, the two of them decided to start living together right away. Upon seeing how his older brother showed up wearing a coat he had owned for who knows how many years, with very few other belongings, bragging about his beloved car which was in fact made out of paper, Germany felt strangely guilty for coming to meet him wearing a brand new suit."
The fate of the rest of the states is a good question. But the old state borders have changed a lot anyway. Perhaps the rest of Germany's big brothers are retired on the countryside (as was suggested by one post, I think), and Prussia became East Germany because he was appointed in that position by Russia (who was the only one of the Allies to oppose Prussia's disintegration, and seems to like Prussia.)
Edited by 86.50.90.67Also please do bear with The Perfectionist in me re-editing my own edits. Some time ago I added gazillion tropes in APH characters, but the second though told me some of them were rather my own interprations of the characters than canon tropes, and some entries were TL;DR, making the charcter sheets unfriendly to the eye.
I delete: [[folder:Portugal]]
- Flip-Flop of God Himaruya has released SEVERAL sketches for a possible Portugal.
- The "male!Port" drawings hit the following tropes:
- Fiery Redhead: One of them has reddish hair.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: The same one also has a notorious scar over his left eye.
- Perma-Stubble: Another combines this and Megane
- Tall, Dark, and Handsome: All of them, in their own ways.
- When He Smiles: They all smile very prettily.
- On the other hand, the two "female!Port" doodles hit these tropes
- Action Girl: One is a Hot Chick with a Sword, the other is a Lady of War.
- Boobs Of Steel: Both are Hungary-level endowed.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: The "Hot Chick".
- Tall, Dark and Bishoujo: The "Lady".
- When She Smiles: Both girls have beautiful smiles, too.
- The "male!Port" drawings hit the following tropes:
Because sad as it is, Portugal is in no way an official character.
OH SHI-
This little monster. Should we trie to sort it out here in the discussion page? It's getting rather unaesthetic... As far as I can see, his status is left ambigious by Himaruya, with clues to both him being and him not being East Germany or Kaliningrad. Knowing Gilbert, he might well be even both.
