Yeesh, that's not appropriate language or behavior at all. If the entry was inaccurate, fine, but their edit reason makes it clear they have a harmful agenda to spread.

Yikes. What's their deal?

Oh boy, it's Ferris drama again.

Word of God directly contradicts the text of the work on this point. The text shows Ferris unambiguously self-identifying as a girl. The author claims Felix is a guy. (The author also says other things about F's gender expression that don't really have anything to do with their identity, but will invariably be taken as proof of whatever the reader already believes.)

Revert it on principle for assholery, but maybe edit the example to acknowledge the source of the confusion.

That last part in their edit reason is absolutely vile and unnecessary.

Ferris has an Ambiguous Gender Identity, likely due to Trans Equals Gay misconceptions, but heavily leans towards being female identified. I don't think the example is inaccurate.

Well, I don't want an Edit War, so it's best a mod do the reversion.

Thank god. Why do we even show tolerance to these fucks anyway? I think that a bounce on the spot would've been better.

^ There are different degrees of suspension, with the loosest wiki-side being ATT and editing and the tightest non-bounce meaning nothing can be done aside from posting in the EB thread. All of these fall under "suspension".

In addition, you may notice in the EB thread that sometimes people post and are immediately bounced. Unless their appeal is what implodes them, this is probably for demonstrative purposes so we can show and state explicitly what we do not tolerate.

Regardless of this, though, if you have questions about mod decisions and processes, please take it to the appropriate forum thread, instead of piggybacking here.
