It counts as an edit war and they shouldn't be there in the first place. Rape shouldn't exist in Pokemon as a trope because it's a kids game.

Edit: Oh, they restored the same edit to the Pokémon Adult Horrors page as well. After seeing this query, I figured I'd check that page, which was the other that had a contention issue over it. And it's back.

The examples I have edited were deleted for frankly unsatisfactory reasons. The examples fit strictly within the criteria mentioned for the tropes at hand.

Problem is all the journal said was Mew gave birth to Mewtwo and that's it. One of your edits stated Mew explicitly got raped when it's never the case. If it's inaccurate information, then it should be removed.
And don't tell me they do it offscreen and never wrote that up, Pokemon is usually rated E for Everyone.

@Carliro: There is no indication of Child by Rape and Medical Rape and Impregnate in the game. Mew "giving birth" to Mewtwo is more likely a metaphorical case.

If you're using that as an excuse to add your speculation to the page, stop. The main page is only for true, verifiable info. Nothing in the games say Mew was raped. Also take into the consideration the original games were somewhat poorly translated, Mew may not have even physically given birth in the original Japanese.
Yeah. Mewtwo was the result of genetic engineering and experimentation of Mew's DNA. It was an attempted cloning of Mew that gave rise to a new Pokemon, Mewtwo, and is why Mewtwo is known as the Genetic Pokemon. While never stated directly, it was implied scientists from Cinnabar Island scoured known Mew sightings in the southern hemisphere to gather any DNA found from beings/things that Mew may have had contact with.
Remember it was never Mew that was "captured" and subjected to horrific genetic experiments. It was implied Mewtwo that went through that after Mew's DNA was inserted into the genetic machines. And while the Pokemon anime and games have two different canons, the anime backs up the games' implications. We don't see or hear of Mew being "tortured", we see and hear Mewtwo get "tortured".
What ridiculous misuse. Pulling (since not only is it misuse, but it re-adding it was a rules violation) and going to cite this thread as consensus.

Yeah, those examples need to go. At best, they're WMG, which has no place being on any page not dedicated to WMG. At worst, they're fanon that a troper is trying to push as canon without sufficient evidence other than "it's totally obvious, I swear!"
It seems like the troper Carliro added a few tropes to Pokémon: Generation I - Tangela to Mew, mainly Child by Rape and Medical Rape and Impregnate to Mew and Mewtwo's entries. They were removed by flamemario12 but they were added back by Carliro without discussion. Should these tropes even be there in the first place and more importantly, does this count as an edit war?
