That's inexcusable, but I do find Older Than They Think (along with Common Knowledge to a lesser extent) to often wind up as strawmanning complaints and basically explain how the complaints are wrong (even/especially when the complaints aren't actually what's covered by the trope).

Does this person show any autistic traits? If not, I'd ban them and force them to change handle based on using the 4chan definition of autist alone, IF I was a Moderator. We don't allow slurs in handles.

I... don't think we can make armchair psychologist judgments on whether someone is autistic or not through their editing patterns. And I'm positive we don't want to. Either certain words should be banned from being in handles or they shouldn't, I don't think we can play N-Word Privileges here.

True, I've been on reddit too much. I honestly think we shouldn't allow handles to use it, based on its use as a slur.

Suspended for the edit reason, the handle is not a slur.

"Autist" literally means "person on the autism spectrum" - it's in no way a slur.

And of course, blacklisting words from usernames can lead to a Scunthorpe problem.
