My line of thinking is like VideoGame.Resident Evil Remake for VideoGame.Resident Evil 1 and Dead Space (Remake) for VideoGame.Dead Space 1, where the remakes got their own pages because of changes in story and gameplay. If it's quality of life improvements plus expanding of story details (among other things) but doesn't massive change main story details, they could probably go in its own folder.

Inconsistency isn't a problem in of itself. That said, this isn't really an inconsistency since P3 Reload isn't a remake in the same way as Golden or Royal, that would be either 3 FES or 3 Portable. Those are all just enhanced ports with new story and gameplay tweaks within the same console generation, not a full ground-up remake separated by decades.

Yeah, Golden and Royal, like FES and Portable before them, are more Updated Rereleases with additional content tacked on to the existing game and story. Reload is a full ground-up remake in a new engine and possibly with a few major changes to the overall story, if speculation is to be believed.

Speculative Troping is not allowed on TV Tropes so I would say it's too soon to make a separate page, if it even needs one.

Haven't played either game myself tbh, but the safest solution would be to makea sandbox or a TLP with tropes not present in the original, and if you end up gathering enough tropes to actually justify making a new page (I know a work page needs only three tropes, but imo that's WAY too little), then make it. Though I guess it's already made...

Another alternative is to make a folder or a sub-page in the original Persona 3 page that contains the tropes exclusive to the Reload.

^ I don't see how Speculative Troping is relevant, and Persona 3 Reload page already being published makes the need to go though other steps unnecessary, and since the game has been out for a while it already got a more than large enough list to justify it.

If you mean splitting wasn't warranted before, yes that's what I was arguing for, but at that point there were more promotional material showing it does have enough differences.

Speculative Troping isn't at play here so much as Theres No Such Thing As Notability: i.e. any work can get its own page if it has enough to justify it. This isn't splitting up seasons of a show, these are two games released decades apart.

And personally I'm for splitting these sooner rather than later. Lookin' at you, Tactics Ogre with your SNES and PSP versions hopelessly intertwined.

^ But we don't trope adaptations, ports, and remakes separately unless they deviate, and at that point I wasn't sure if the remake did enough that the Persona 3 can't mention. The Super Mario RPG remake for reference isn't separated, it has some new stuff, but is mostly 1:1.
