Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I removed it just now.
Avatar by Butterscotch Arts. Used under license.Suspension applied due to adding factually inaccurate information to the wiki.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. They also listed The Lorax under Paramount and added Happy Feet to Disney Animated Canon. They also changed a bunch of release dates on the latter page. Feels like weird vandalism.
EDIT: Ninja'd
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. This is one of the strangest vandalism cases I have seen, like the company that made the film should be one of the easiest things to get right.
Edited by Ordeaux26 CM Sandboxes, MB SandboxesI also want to note that they were adding "It was the same as The Lorax." to the Trolls page, so it very much seems like they have something against one or maybe both of the movies.
Edited by ArctimonCould this be Big Bertha (who later ban-evaded as Are You Tyler and Sneakyspook) ban evading? They previously added unusually inaccurate information to the wiki.
Edited by GastonRabbit Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. We could try an IP check if necessary?
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.^^, ^ No IP correlation.
Is it wrong that I kinda want him to come here and try and explain himself?
^ He can do that in Edit Banned.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.^^ If you'd like to read the Edit Bans/Suspension thread, I highly recommend it because the experience helps to anticipate what is expected if you are ever suspended (and advises how not to be suspended in the first place).
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. It's also just pretty fun to see occasional bannee fly completely off the handle or try to explain themselves with copious applications of Insane Troll Logic.
Last Wednesday, Cooper Simpson, in a rather bizarre case of Critical Research Failure, put The Lorax (2012) onto the list of films from DreamWorks Animation without any edit reason provided despite it being a clear and simple fact that The Lorax was from Illumination Entertainment. VTHU 243 rightfully deleted this addition two days later for this exact reason and even mentioned as much in the edit reason. But then, two days ago, Cooper Simpson quite brazenly IGNORED this truthful edit in favor of ramrodding this blatantly false information right back in. Does this qualify as an edit war? Regardless, I have a feeling something needs to be done here.
P.S: Also, on June 28, Cooper Simpson also changed the description of the Lorax on its own page to say that it was the 3rd film ever by Dream Works Animation. Not only is the Lorax, as I previously mentioned, NOT by Dreamworks, but it also wouldn't have been the 3rd film by them even it it WERE (it would have been the 25th). This also needs to be fixed.
