Captain Crawdad also removed stuff from Character Shilling without reason.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Captain Crawdad's removals seem valid, as they involve removal of natter and aversions. It would've been nice for them to have an edit reason though.

The examples removed by Badguy 2014's on the other hand seem to have been valid and were unilaterally removed:

The first example seems valid, the second although I am not familiar with KH seems valid also if true, the third seems valid IMHO.

Thoughts?

Eh, the Sakura one is sort of a ZCE since it never actually says she was shilled. It says she's "this", and that means you could replace it with another trope (Faux Action Girl, Damsel in Distress, The Load) and it'd still make sense. But that's a reason to rewrite it, not cut it.

^How about this:

  • After the Timeskip Sakura was shilled by her teacher, Kakashi, and others (the most glaring being the Kazekage Rescue Arc and the Tenchi Bridge Arc) for her "newfound healing abilities and fighting style." The former sure, but not the latter. She either lost or was coddled during all of her fights outside of filler arcs and even came close to death early on, even though she hardly pulled her weight.

Bumping up, since they've now made an edit on My Hero Academia: Abridged, in which they removed some accurate descriptions of the relationship between Midoriya and Uraraka in canon without an edit reason, the nature of the edit is suspect since looks like shipping bias.
