Is a blog anti-TGWTG and their fanbase. They also do articles in other topics. They can be pretty hit-and-miss, I laughed to some of their articles.

Let's see how much time passes until Busy Street notices this thread and do one of their articles telling everyone that TGWTG suck and that they are the best that ever happened to the Internet.

Do they make legitimate arguments against them, or is it mostly petty and whiny BS? Although, if that "best thing to happen to the internet" is true, then I think I know the answer...

Aren't Busy Street like a lamer version of 4Chan? The only thing I've heard about them was that they screencapped some TGWTG fic and were planning "to do stuff with it".

They are going to make a riff on Kickassia, but I haven't heard that fanfic thing.

Busy Street is about on par with what we saw from Assalieri's video as seen on the previous page. Ugh.

Sorry to double post, but I actually commented on the video on You Tube, telling him that not all of us who enjoyed Kickassia fall into his convenient Nazi-esque categories set by him, and he was so willingly belligerent that its not even funny. Hell, its actually funny that I'm one of the few people he even replied to and it for a negative comment. TGWTG is the attention whore here?

Yeah, I know. But since none of the You Tube commenters were doing I figured at least one person should call him on it.

^^I kind of want to leave a comment as well, but I know it wouldn't do any good, and he'd just say something insulting to me even if I was being respectful. I'll let him wallow in his anger over a website, and be glad with the knowledge that he will likely never get any sort of wide recognition.

Yeah....there's a reason he will never be able to get paid for his work as an interner reviewer....reviewer. He's just not funny enough. And a bit unfair sometimes. While I typically agree with him, even back when he still made videos that had some sense to them I felt he went overboard with the insults directed at the people he critiqued.

Funny, I just tried to read Busy Street's Kickassia review the other day. Emphasis on tried. I expected witty or at least good criticism and it's not really that hard to deliver on both fronts considering I can't stand more then half the people on TGWTG. Instead it's a derailed, rambling train of thought which can be summarized with "that's gay" and "(s)he's fat" interspersed with shit bombs and homosexual innuendos. I can go to a frat party and have the same asinine conversations but at least there is free beer around.

When ED manages to outclass you in the tasteful humor department, get off the fucking Internet.

I tried to search the website for that review. I failed, because I stopped giving a damn what these bitter, cynical, hateful wastes of space, since their bilious, mean-spirited antics just reek of "prick who thinks they know better than you, and any attempt to make them think otherwise is pointless, because to them, you are a dumb little shit not worth their precious time."

Fuck Busy Street. May their hate consume them, and bring them great misfortune.

As for TGWTG, they're nowhere near as fun to follow as they used to be. I stopped liking their stuff roughly around the end of 2008. To beg their fans for votes to me just tells me they have decided to sit on their laurels and let their fans keep believing they are infallible and awesome.

Etheru: What exactly do you want me to explain, my dislike for TGWTG?

Well, it's simple, I liked their stuff when they started out, then they dropped the ball and stopped making good stuff, and instead concentrated on making crossover vids.

Pretty cut and dry. Do I think they should be going all out and using their fandom to win awards they don't deserve? Absolutely not.

@Asalieri: I don't hate TGWTG. I don't love every member, watch all their videos, or buy any of their merchandise. I just watch the videos of those I like. I don't mind that you hate TGWTG, but when you make the claims you made in the video, make sure to back them up. For instance, what did Spoony do that counted as "shitting on his fans"? I don't know, because I don't follow everything he does. I'm also not his biggest fan, and I do think he sometimes says things that irritate me.

And Busy Street, I'm sorry to say, is something that I wish to avoid. Too many articles are hateful and mean-spirited, and I'm not big on hate. I prefer being more constructive and not reliant on name-calling. You and everyone else on the site are free to do whatever you do, but I'm also free to disapprove of those actions.

EDIT: Also, I don't vote in the Mashable Awards because I think they're pointless.
