That too, thanks.
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....Arguably in vain, isn't it? Didn't Johan get away that time?
Or am I misremembering?
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....^^Yeah, good one. Maybe I should give that one to Flandre, too.
^I think it still counts.

Hmm... Isn't there trope for in vain sacrifices?
Edit: Oh yes, Senseless Sacrifice.

Probably.
Alright.
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....Found it.*edited into last post*
- Technical Pacifist
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy? (She seemed to be willing to let Link go when there were rumors he was in a relationship with Zelda)
^True, although she was a True Pacifist at first, getting into technical territory later.
The page thusfar.
Bit
->''*series of bleeps and bloops*
Born Ayumu Yamato , and acquiring the nickname Bit later in life. Bit was the first of the Consolebots to appear in WAOA, she is also at least partly responsible for the Cerebus Syndrome acquired by the RP. Bit was created for the sole purpose of fighting in the arena of New Tokyo, becoming that arena's six-time champion, as well as being forced to perform less savory services on the side. Bit had three companions -Dee, Kasume, and Sara- owned by the same Master (who is known only as a highly depraved individual.) Over time they developed a bond akin to sisterhood (something that was fairly common among the Consolebots). Before appearing (somehow) in WAOA. Bit befriended minus, who freed all the Consolebots in Bit's world, an act known as the Great Liberation. The Consolebots' inherent knowledge that minus had freed them led to the foundation of Minusianism, a pseudo-religion that most Consolebots now practice in some form. After the Liberation, Bit became a strong pacifist (possibly as a reaction against being forced to fight in the Arenas, similarly, most sexbots took vows of Celibacy, etc.) Bit's pacifism often caused her to sit out fights. Only if one of her friends was truly threatened would she fight back, and boy, would she fight back. Bit later met Link, the young boy with which she would share a largely offscreen romance. Bit can be considered (although it's disputable) largely responsible for the game's Cerebus Syndrome, as her death and Link's subsequent embitterment marked a darker, more story-driven approach to the game.
- All There in the Manual - This page probably tells you more about Bit's backstory than I could ever fit into the game itself.
- Beware the Nice Ones - If you ever threaten Link, or Bit's sisters, Bit will fucking pummel you. Just ask the Irate Gamer.
- Berserk Button - Enslavement, harming her Family.
- Cerebus Syndrome - Bit and Flandre are arguably responsible for it.
- Heroic Sacrifice - Arguably in vain, but later avenged with a vengence.
- Killed Off for Real - Bit's death -coupled with Flandre's only a day earlier- marked a turning point for the entire game.
- Nakama - With Dee and Sara.
- The Woobie - Bit requires your hugs.

I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....Did True Pacifist get cut or am I misremembering?
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....Spain Sun, I demand paragraph breaks. That Wall of Text hurts my eyes.
Also, it's Actual Pacifist, I believe.

I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....Actually Spain Sun, I did play as Tetra for a bit. She talked with Dee about Link, and though she was sad to learn he was in a relationship, she accepted his choice.
...I wonder if I should have her show up again sometime? >__>
"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursTetra?....
I'm not familiar with the Zeldaverse at all, but I'll just put "later averted".
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....I'm not familiar with the Zeldaverse at all, but I'll just put "later averted".
In the Wind Waker verse, Zelda was born as a pirate girl named Tetra, and didn't learn until later that she even was a princess.
Also, you CAN'T 'later avert' something. An aversion is if a trope does not show up AT ALL. When a trope seems like it will be used, but it eventually isn't, it's a subversion.

ack, ninjas!

Wizard Needs Food Badly...Er, are we still in the Distorter? I skipped ahead after... yeah, I don't need to say it, do I? It wasn't a length issue.
"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "
That's one.
