He plays surprisingly well with others, but if you want to, I can use another person, just have to create an OC for that, maybe I'll use his wife as a template character. Damn, it's been quite some time, can I tale this character as a picture thlugh?

You're going to have to rephrase that, as I think you've made a rather egregious typo there. Do you mean use a picture to help give us an idea what the character looks like?

'T was a typo, meant take instead of tale, and I was asking whether or not I could create a character using my current avatar as base. (Do you need to know his background, because if so, I can only start tomorrow working on this guy, otherwise I will tive you a rundown and start with this guy tomorrow.)

Oh, of course you can. And if you consider anything in his background to be relevant to the roleplaying experience, we would like to know so we can give it a look-over. If not, a quick rundown will be fine.

Alright, a guybwas plucked of the streets by an organizzation that wanted him to experiment on and then release him as a blank slate for other corporations with whom they work to make him an obediant slave. Unfortunately for them, one of the experiments was him wearing an ancient set of armor inscribed with runes. He went apparently mad from what he experienced, because all he could do was mumble. After a long debate they threw him back out on the streets and let him be.

A few years later a random mugger decided to mug the guy who was 'cosplaying', and that was when the powers of the suit decided to show themselves. His reaction time was enhanced and he dodged the hit from the baseball bat. He then grabbed the mugger by the throat and his hand lit on fire, burning the mugger. He let the mugger go and looked in a store window.

He saw that the missing horn on the missing horn on the helmet was replaced by a spiritual flame, it seemed to have no effect on the world. So too was the glow in his eyes, except that it allowed him to see in the dark, but his hand was different, he trued channeling the fire, and it concentrated into a ball, which he then flicked away, accidently hitting a car and melting right through it.

He has since then worked to refine his powers and gain more control. His power include pyrokinesis, enhanced reaction speed, enhanced speed and endurance, and toughness gotten from the armor.

Edit: that turned out far longer than I expected, stilll, not bad for 30 minutes a work.

Could you give us any more on this character's personality, what they're like to talk to, etc?

He (haven't decided on a name yet, ideas?) avoids the topic of his past as though it's the plague, but for the rest he is quite open about himself, he isn't especially interested in either gender, and is quite relaxed when not fighting, he also tends to exegarate (don't know how to spell that word) any exploits of his friends and himself.

Alright, this looks pretty good as a start. Soon as you find a good name, feel free to hop on in.

Gear: back pack workstation (for all your field science needs). A small drone he calls Sunny and in the event he needs to fight a small blaster

Powers none

Skills: has full training and a doctorate in tne following: Chemistry, biology, Machinism, robotics and geek studies.

Physical abilities: he can lift the equivilent of three engines but thats only due to years of training other than thats he is just a normal human

Quick traits: loves his family. Is a perfectionist and sometimes snarky but otherwise a nice guy....just don't mention a certain robot in his presense

One of the reasons we wraped the plot up was to move on from netherworlds which we have been in for over half a year.

It is time to move on.

Back to regular Monster Hunter world then? :P

Can't disagree with sunny here, but my stake in this is far lesser considering I'm not in a position to gm due to irl obligations.

Personally, I'm more curious whether we actually want to focus on plot or exploration in this next world, since while we usually end up doing both to an extent, it might determine what my suggestion would be.

I'd suggest settings but I don't know if I can muster up the ability to GM one.

Although if I did have to, I guess I'd say the Silver City-verse, or the AU hypercommercialized Silver City-verse Sunny made up.

Well luckily Neon already volunteered to GM a trip to Amsterdam, so we have at least ONE option.

They hypercomercialized silver city would get a vote from me....

If we can get GMs for it I vote Amsterdam.

Once again, I'm proposing both the supervillain idea and the "Kerberos gets invited to stress-test a megacorp's new security system" ideas that I've been putting on the table for the past 2 or 3 votes
