Carmen Dorothy Blanche Silvera, (2 June 1922 — 3 August 2002), was a British actress best known for playing Edith Artois in 'Allo 'Allo!.

One of her earliest TV roles was on Z Cars in 1962. Two years later, she appeared as Camilla Hope in Compact, a Soap Opera.

She made two different Doctor Who appearances in 1966 and 1974, appearing as three different characters in "The Celestial Toymaker", and as Ruth in "Invasion of the Dinosaurs". In 1970, she appeared in Dad's Army in the episode "Mum's Army". She also was a regular face in Awful British Sex Comedies of The '70s, such as Clinic Exclusive, On the Game and Keep It Up Downstairs.

Her best known role was the tone-deaf Madame Edith in 'Allo 'Allo!. Silvera played the role in every episode of the series as well as the 1994 Clip Show.

She died of lung cancer at the age of 80.
