Carmen Dorothy Blanche Silvera, (2 June 1922 -- 3 August 2002), was a British actress best known for playing Edith Artois in ''Series/AlloAllo''.

One of her earliest TV roles was on ''Series/ZCars'' in 1962. Two years later, she appeared as Camilla Hope in ''Compact'', a SoapOpera.

She made two different ''Series/DoctorWho'' appearances in 1966 and 1974, appearing as three different characters in "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS3E7TheCelestialToymaker The Celestial Toymaker]]", and as Ruth in "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS11E2InvasionOfTheDinosaurs Invasion of the Dinosaurs]]". In 1970, she appeared in ''Series/DadsArmy'' in the episode "Mum's Army".
