Is the Fuko and Desco Show worth getting?
Kinda depends; if you'd like to play through both a fairly long extension of the story and creative map setups, net a few more orignal tunes for the music store, see some new dialogue from the units in your base, and hear Troy Baker completely flip his lid about halfway in, then it's a pretty wholesome and entertaining diversion from the rest of the post-game.
On the other hand, if you're not much of a fan of disappointingly simplistic plots, additional units that are really only there for the novelty of getting to use nerfed versions of unique boss units (and a Fuka-themed ship, I guess), and having other DLC units basically waved in front of your face with little justification, then you could probably make plenty more use out of $13 on the PSN.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyGrinded last night.
Val is currently at level 152. Debating making his first Reincarnation, if it would lead to him getting even more insane stats.
Kill-Vearn, my Death, is currently sitting at level 72. His three panel hitting attack from a distance is incredibly helpful, along with his Wind and Ice spells. About to Reincarnate him from Chernobog into a Death. He definitely has fitting skills for who I named him for, and has done nice damage against those Biosuits.
My Succubus is doing some nice damage currently, about to Reincarnate her into a Lilim. I recall seeing Judgment Sword once before, and that looked so completely awesome.
Both my Fighters are doing nicely. Hogan my Axe-Wielder has some neat equips, and a nice Crescent Axe that deals simply enormous damage. Shin the Sword User also has some nice numbers.
And Emizel is a very nice unit. Currently level 142.
Hmm, thinking of trying to win the rest of chapter 8 on Generic Units and Fenrich and have them catch up with Val and Emizel. Quite ironic, given how they ragged on Emizel for being weak before.
Also, I am training up Fuka to match the standards of the team, but some times it seems her accuracy takes a nosedive against sufficiently high level foes.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.That is a bit strange, as Emizel was one of the first uniques to fall behind for me. Basically, it was the Valzy, Fuka, and Desco show, though Fenrich wasn't too far behind and I got Vulcanus 2 up to level eventually.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.If your favorite means of attack is the use of magic, Emizal is blessing. Once you give him a good staff and keep him from going to the front lines, he'll promptly nuke the crap out of a lot of lesser enemies. Not to mention he comes with all the elements except star, he's pretty much the strongest early nuker you can get till late game.
Also, hellooooooo Nurse◊.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2I approve of Nurse Purple Heart.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Purple Heart looks good in any uniformed occupation! Too bad Neptune isn't!
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...Where's Riseteer when we need 'em?
Also, love the tagalong Black Heart
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...Reincarnated Kill into a Tezcatlipoca, currently level 80-something. Kill=Vearn is one of my most useful units, his attacks do some killer damage with a highly leveled weapon.
Val is level 202, awesome stats.
Hogan and Shin are quickly catching up. Hogan's pretty much my mega-tank now. Shin is more of a speedy fighter.
Desco...when does she learn Yog Sothoth? Otherwise, with a level 20 Dark Aura, she's doing great damage. I might level it more.
Debating whether to level Demon Ninja to give to Shin and my Magic Knight.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.What level is she at anyway? She learns Yog Sogath at level 100 I believe.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.If no level 80 or 100 then 120.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2For those of you who care about this sort of thing, The latest NIS poll has given its results for its male division.
From the looks of things, it seems that the rumors of Valvatorez being the new "BEST DISGAEA CHARACTER EVER!" are rather valid after all. Also pretty funny how the Alraune somehow made it into this section, as well as the Masked Hero class managing to come dead last.
EDIT: Huh, it looks like the Alraune class was in the female poll as well. Oh you, NIS.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyLook at the comments section for the female poll results, too.
How in the name of anything did Mao make the top ten?
I am glad that Valzy made it so high, though him outdoing Laharl is probably impossible.
Fuka, Vulcanus 2 and Desco made top ten of the females poll! Asagi somehow manage to beat out Etna and Flonne! Prier is in the top ten as well!
...The Marisa looking girl from The Witch and the Hundred Soldiers is on the poll? Her game isn't even out yet. Who'd vote for a character they know nothing about? Though she made it rather high considering.
Pleinair is lower than I thought.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Mao's actually very popular with the general fanbase as it seems, particularly due to his hamminess, tactless fantasies about experimenting on any Demon-of-the-Week he comes by, and his rather Laharl-esque personality. That, and the overall disdain for his debut is far less apparent than here where nearly any work can be destroyed through sheer overanalysis. *
On the other hand, kinda disappointed that the female poll's top 10 was pretty much just filled with the regular Disgaea heroines, though I guess the Thief class somehow managing to scratch its surface makes up for that in terms of predictability.
And for some reason, GFRP also managed to sneak in some entries as well. Hyping for their respective games, I guess...?
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyDarn it the Magic Knight only made 21...
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.How the heck did Thief beat Archer? But I digress, I like using both so I can't complain...
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2I kinda went "huh" at that too, as the Archer is pretty popular for a class, while the Thief...isn't.
I don't really take these kinds of things seriously anyway. You may be amused by some results (how high your personal favorite placed, freak things like Asagi outdoing D1 characters in this poll) but you will be able to predict the top ten usually.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.While we are on gaming news, Compile Heart's next game will be on the Vita. It will involve 50 artists, monsters, and and lots of girls.
Speaking of girls, have some Noire◊.
I have no problem with this.
Well, Vita, but whatcha going to do?
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.The second thing I noticed were two giant breasts under the logo.
Yep, Compile Heart.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I feel bad for saying this, but an English release of that game would sell me a Vita. >__>
was already getting a vita for Persona 4 GOLDEN anyways, so doesn't change much, except now i want to get it even more. I wonder if its gonna be localized...

Actually, I am pretty sure Concrete Knowledge doesn't gain it's "grindy" properties until the second visit. The first visit just has androids guarding the portals and more flowing out of them.
