Brad is Aran's Japanese name in Radiant Dawn.

This route really goes out of its way to make every antagonist, Hoshidan or Nohrian, utterly horrible.

There's already a Percy in Fire Emblem Fates. Granted, you're never going to see him in Birthright...

Hans is what happens when Valter and Caellach have a kid together. He's got the former's bloodlust and the latter's ambitions. What a charming guy.

Chapter 14 is a nice Breather Level. So easy, in fact, that I did too well - accidentally killed Kumagera rather than capturing him! Reseeeeeeet!

@Ekimmak: I dunno about you, but Percy Jackson was pretty alright. Percy isn't a name I see too often though, so I dunno how many awful Percy's permeate other media.

It was just someone on a writing blog pointing out that there's more than enough cases of naming a character Percy just so you can make him like the Harry Potter one (I forget the exact term for the personality).

UGH. I've mistakenly killed Kumagera twice! There's very little space available to attack him, and I have to make sure Niles is in position too.

Chapter 15 is either really hard or super easy, depending on how you play it.

I'm on Ch. 14.

So, while I always made Atlas a Cavalier in Gaiden, since I know Celica's new ally is a Paladin, I'm trying to decide if I should instead make him a Soldier instead. Thoughts?

An Archer is the best move honestly. Celica only gets one other Archer, and Atlus himself is pretty frail. Mine has had terrible growths and bases, but give him a Steel Bow as an Archer and he can do some passable damage.

Finally cleared ch. 14 with all the treasure and Kumagera. Arthur and Effie got hitched, and Leo is a cool guy who will help me with my no-death run.

I just made him a Mercenary. Having Saber, Kamui, Jesse, Atlas, and Deen all being Dread Fighters turned out to be the wisest decision I ever made because Apotrope is so good.

Just had a funny thought: the Final Bosses in this franchise could make for a sitcom about a highly dysfunctional family.

• Medeus is the racist grandfather
• Duma is the super-stern father
• Loptyr is the bratty kid
• Veld is the guy no one bothers to remember
• Idunn is the creepy aunt who always sits by herself
• The Fire Dragon is the kid alway throwing tantrums
• Fomortiis is the creepy uncle
• Ashnard is the edgelord teenager who pulls the legs off animals
• Ashrera is the overbearing super-strict mother
• Grima is the monster they keep locked in the basement
• Anankos is the crazy great-grandfather locked in the attic

All we need is the creepy grandma. Get to it, Fire Emblem Switch!

Ch. 15 clear. I know Gunter is supposed to be an intentionally sucky unit but he endeared himself to me due to his very first action being a Critical Luna.
