It seems like Characters.Touhou Windows One is getting to the point where it needs to be split. Is there a way to do this without renaming the other game pages?

Seriously! I coulda sworn it was the same size as or shorter than Windows Two.

Anyway, my vote is to create Characters/TouhouKoumakyouEmbodimentOfScarletDevil as a subpage of Characters/TouhouWindowsOne (with Characters/TouhouEmbodimentOfScarletDevil as a redirect). The intro can explain how EoSD introduced a lot of recurring characters and traditionally gets a lot of attention from the fanbase, but ZUN hadn't fully established the setting at the time and many aspects of it were later Retconned away.

The Touhou Windows One page would have a "see Touhou Koumakyou Embodiment Of Scarlet Devil" link where the EoSD sheets are right now, and Characters/Touhou would go

• Touhou Windows One
  • Touhou Koumakyou Embodiment Of Scarlet Devil
• Touhou Windows Two
• Touhou Windows Three
• Touhou - Other Official Works

I think the real question is 'Are you not un-good?', to which the answer would be no.

Yeah the PCB section is slightly longer, but it makes less sense to take out something from the middle, particularly since EoSD's Early-Installment Weirdness could be argued as a "mini-era". If things get too big again then we could create another subpage for PCB, but there doesn't seem any real reason to lump it and EoSD together.

I'd rather renumber everything.

Alternately we could give every game its own page? If they're going to keep growing anyway, we'd have to do so in the long run.

That makes more sense to me, to be honest. Though I'd think we'd keep the main games in the current pages, then put the side games in their own page.

Oh dear, this is a complicated issue Hmmm... well, I'm not sure if the splitting is necessary...? But! I'll certainly defer to your judgements on that , you're way more experienced in troping and page management and stuff. In that case, the "every game gets its own page" thing actually sounds best to me!

I did get my start in the Touhou Fandom through this very Character Page, so I am very attached to it. Also, my priority with it is always "how useful and easy-to-understand is it to a newcomer?", since that's the exact situation I was in.

Speaking of that! Maybe now that we're already reworking the Char Page a bit, could we give consideration to an idea I have stated in here several times before already? Namely, that of giving Reimu and Marisa also their own "The two Main Characters" page on the Main Characters Index? I still think this is a good idea.

If someone doesn't know anything about Touhou and checking the Char Page first (like I did), he'd expect the first couple listed characters to be the most important ones, right? If not outright having a "Main Characters" extra page. That's how it is for Dragon Ball or Sailor Moon for example. Here, with Touhou, it's super unclear. A newcomer might go "OK, this PC 98 thing is the first item, so probably where I should start, right?",... which leads him first into Reimu, which is good. But then follows... Shingyoku ^^ Which is great if you're SDM ^^, not so much if you're new.

Marisa, who undoubtedly is the second most important character of this huge franchise (and also, I would add, has a LOT of Wolverine Publicity, so a new person might have already seen her somewhere else before, and be specifically interested in her!)... but here, she's buried in the middle of PC 98, between Meira and Evil Eye Sigma.

So maybe we could also consider doing that Thank you.
