I wonder if the dialogue is spoken during battle in the Septentrione arc, because so far all I've seen no one speaks during battle or changes happening during it. Only at the start and afterwards.

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't considering the 3.8 GB size that comes from all that voice acting.

Going by the few videos of the tutorial battle in the subway, they're silent too. It's a shame. Probably a pipe dream to hope that Atlus USA does what Aksys did with Virtue's Last Reward where they dubbed parts of the game that weren't voiced in the Japanese version.

Also from what I've seen of the Triangulum, they are pretty much the Let's Get Dangerous! aliens. Especially the third one.

What are the Triangulum named after? The stars in Triangulum? The Winter Triangle? The Summer Triangle?

Denebola, Spica, and Arcturus. Denebola is sometimes switched out with Regulus depending on how big you want the triangle.

Ah, the Spring Triangle.

Doesn't DS2 take place in the spring?

I think it actually takes place in early November, if I remember the anime correctly.

Out of curiosity, aside from Aramisaki, what other new demons are present in Record Breaker?

So far I've only seen Dionysus, and Mother Harlot was in one of the magazine scans. Apparently Miyako's first Fate demon is Sandalphon.

Random question: are the actual DDS novels any good? Doing a Wiki Walk got me thinking about possibly reading the fan translations when I have the spare time.

The first one is pretty trashy, but in a So Bad, It's Good kinda way, and the second one, while not anywhere near the quality of, for comparison, Quantum Devil Saga, is legitimately better than the first and pretty thrilling.

So yeah, I'd recommend reading them, though don't expect the highest quality of literature.

Well, you can buy it on Amazon, but I dunno if they ship to Brazil. That's where I got it at least.

The problem with using Amazon is that my country has a stupid law where they put heavy taxes on anything that is imported from outside Brazil.

Man Arcturus is pretty much Beldr on roids. He's so powerful that even with their own devil fuge (Shiki-Ouji) app Yamato does practically nothing to it.

Thankfully his sister arrived in time to give him a power boost via the Dragon Stream.

Sorry to double post. I kinda feel bad for Miyako after seeing her ending. She worked hard and clearly thought out her goal, but the game made sure her ending leads into the regular bad ending.

How is it a bad ending?

I can't understand exactly what's being said, but it seems to involve the party sacrificing their lives to do something to Al Saiduq, after which he monologues, there are scenes of people going about their way in Shibuya, then the game over sequence plays.

Basically it looks like the equivalent of escaping the lockdown with Honda on Day 6 of the first game.

Some guy on gamefaqs spoiled the ending. At first I didn't believe most of their information, but a lot of what they have said has come to pass, especially in Miyako's ending.

Miyako goal according to said spoilers is to make Alcor into a True Administrator, but he lacks swords and a Proof. He had a proof that was taken from Polaris upon its defeat, but he spread it amongst the character. That's why she requires them to give up their lives to return it to him. She captured the Triangulum to convert them into his swords. All of this so that new stars wouldn't invade to destroy humanity, because the system still remains even if the one in charge is defeated.

Well that doesn't sound so bad. Why's it count as a game over? Just because they died?

Because the game apparently introduces its own alien Great Will called Canopus and it wants to Kill All Humans because Alcor had the audacity to defy its absolute will and remake the human world.

Huh. Seeing the videos now it turns out Miyako Hotsuin is actually the fourth Triangulum, Cor Caroli. Alcor joins the battle in his true form as an NPC for the second half of the battle against her.

Also Lucifers angel design replaces his demon design for Record Breaker. Apparently demonic Lucifer was not angelic enough.

So the Triangulum are based on this?

i feel cheated. as if i was mislead to believe the triangulum was a 3 man team. but then it turns out to have 4 stars in it?

BETRAYAAAAAAAAL!!

How is it any different from there being eight Septentriones?
