Natsu and Gajeel was in the new realm with what appeared to be mage robes. "I smell adventure!" Natsu exclaimed happily.
"Yeah, well I smell goat dung." Gajeel said, grumpy at his new robes.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Mason appeared, dressed in a black cloak, black tunic, black pants....
A lot of black, is what I'm trying to say.
Kimimaro shrugged his shoulders as he walked through the portal and appeared in the middle of the bustling city. Noticing the changes in his fellow Champions, he looked down at himself. His body was unchanged, he could feel that his bloodline limit was unaffected, and even his clothes had only the tiniest of changes.
"Interesting..." he muttered, looking around at the various peoples in the bustling market. He walked up to the others.
Have never played Dungeons & Dragons and know nothing about it, so I'm really out of my depth here
Bendy Slendy in Upendi. Also, check out my fic"Well," said Sub-Zero, "I'd wager that we're in some kind of medieval place, which means two things. First..." He made an ice sword and shield from the air around him. "...I'm going to be doing a little sword-and-sorcery. Second, it means we should wander aimlessly until we find someone to give us a quest."
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!Rey glanced around at some of the others, blinking, then over at the creature that had Saren's voice. "Well, I've gotta say I will definitely take the altar boy clothes over whatever happened to you. You all right?"
Easing back into life one step at a timeJack raised an eyebrow.
"We have little need to wander if you wish to find good work. Why not simply ask for information about major problems? We might even seek an audience with the lords of this land."
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao TzuRavage growled in annoyance and brushed the gnome aside, moving to the others. "So, I see that we've all been...transmogrified, for lack of a better word, yet again. I concur with the samurai's assessment; we should find out what the slag our objective is and deal with it as soon as possible."
"I would have to concur as well," a familiar voice rasped.
Dis Baba—or someone who could reasonably be Dis Baba at any rate, given the predominant cobalt hue of his voluminous robes—had appeared behind the group. The Kin's face was gone, replaced by a porcelain theatre mask locked in a perpetual grin, and while his eyes remained in their usual places small blue insects could be seen writhing and scurrying about through the mask's lips.◊
The Danse Macabre Codex"You know," said Sub-Zero, "I think I know where we can ask around for a good quest. Inns are usually full of quest-giver types. You see any, Samurai Jack?"

—Saren leant forward to look at Rey with a few more whirrs.—
I can feel the air through gaps in this armour. I still have to breath. Half of me feels numb, including my prosthetic. My thought processes pause at random. What do you think?
Vezon stared at Dis Baba. "If my skin wasn't a cold steel plate, it would be crawling right about now."
Countless miles to the south of the city, strange figures surrounded the lake which had so recently been disturbed by the abrupt arrival of something enormous. They boarded a small raft and poled out to examine the source of the ripples, examining the water with cold, reptilian eyes as they readied nasty-looking ranseurs...
Dis Baba nodded in acknowledgment. "The citizens in the area where I appeared had much the same reaction; I believe they referred to me as something called a 'worm that walks' before they ran off screaming. I've learned to keep this mask on since then; no sense drawing undue attention to ourselves, after all."

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!Naoto looked around in confusion, baffled by her sight being obscured by something. She looked down and noticed that she was wearing light metal armor. It was colored dark blue and covered most of her body, at least the vital areas. The areas it did not cover was protected by black chainmail that went under the pieces of plate armor. She had a matching helmet that covered the upper half of her face. The detective turned knight noticed that she had a sword on her left side and a flintlock pistol on her other side.
"Just Jack will be fine, thank you. It seems the role of the samurai is not one I am to play here. And while we might hear something from travelers' tales, I believe the better option would be to ask the captain of the guard, or a city official. They would know more and be less inclined to exaggerate."
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao TzuRey winced slightly at Saren's tone. "Maybe this'll be one of those short easy challenges..."
Easing back into life one step at a time"Okay then, Jack," said Sub-Zero. "I'll go look around for a guard and see if he can direct me to the captain." The Lin Kuei warrior then set off in search of a guard.
"Excuse me," he said as he approached a man in silver armor with an equally silver axe. "Would you happen to know where the guard captain is?"
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!The guardsman paid Sub-Zero no heed; evidently, he was the sort of guard that was expected to stand at attention and be absolutely silent at all times.
At that moment, a pair of old ladies walked passed the assembled Champions, chatting animatedly between themselves with nary so much as an inquisitive glance at the golems; it seemed that such an eclectic group, while unusual, was nothing to raise a fuss about.
"Oh, the present state of affairs is simply terrible. So much talk of doom and gloom these days..."
"Not that you can blame them; after all, the city guard is overtaxed trying to keep order."
"Yes, but they could stand to be more efficient; after all, between the plague and those nasty brutes to the south clamouring for war, an outbreak of zombies is the last thing we need..."
The old ninnies passed out of earshot then, and both Ravage and Dis Baba stared after them in incredulity.
"A plague?"
"Zombies?"

The Danse Macabre CodexThe first thing Samara noticed upon arriving at the town/city/wherever-they-were was that she wore a brown, hooded cloak. She then saw the bustling town around her. She walked over to the other champions. "Hi, guys." she greeted them.
"I'm the Avatar! You gotta deal with it!""...Zombies?" Kimimaro said. "I'd be more surprised if I didn't have first-hand experience being a zombie..."
Bendy Slendy in Upendi. Also, check out my ficThe first thing Bowser noticed when he went through the portal was that he...changed.
Not that it bothered him that much, of course he would miss his normally rugged good looks and fantasticaly beautiful spiked shell, but at least this new body still had that 'I-can-fuck-you-up-for-looking-at-me-wrong' vibe going for it.
To be seen, stand up To be heard, speak up To be appreciated, shut upJack frowned.
"It would seem that the Nomads mean for us to start right away," he said. "And there are not one, but three separate goals to accomplish." He sighed. "We will have to split up to complete them all. And we must match the team to the challenge."
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao Tzu"What are zombies?"
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!— Tick Tick Tick—
Maybe this won't be so bad...
Ravage shot Mason an incredulous look. "You've never heard of the walking dead, human?"
Dis Baba brought a gloved hand up to stroke the chin of his mask in contemplation. "How should we divide our strength? That conversation between the crones was rather vague, after all..."

The Danse Macabre Codex
— Tick Tick Tick Tick Kkkkkrr Tick Tick Tick
From a side alley walked a strange figure, slightly stooped and moving in an unsettlingly smooth manner, clad in a scaled, vibrating armour, the helm crafted into the stylised shape of a wyrm's head, cold blue pinpricks staring out from otherwise empty eye slits. A crude blunderbuss is holstered at the side, while a scimitar is worked into the left gauntlet. Gloved hands compulsively contract and release. The figure stops a few feet away from the new arrivals, and the irritated voice of Saren is emitted.—
I can't decide whether or not this is worse than Cybertron.
