"Are they aliens? If so, then it'll be the first time I've seen beings like them before."
"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
"Synths," said Gordon. "They used to be aliens. Now they're the Combine's war machines."
He leaned against the wall, panting. "Alright, first, I'm gonna tell you what we're gonna do here. We're bringing this planet down. That huge building matches the specifications for a Combine dark matter reactor. A huge one, hundreds of times as big as the one in the citadel back home. If it goes down, so will the entire planet."

Spriggan went in the alley, seeing that his comrades were inside. He was in time to hear Gordon's explanation.

"Okay." Spriggan got a silencer from his vest and installed it on his G36K. "Then we'll have to go silent. Use silenced firearms and tactics to take down the enemy."
