I approve of this Wendy/Erza hybrid.

Another week and Fairy Tail the anime finally totals its episodes to 200!

• "It seems like we been here for so long." Preach it, girl. Feel lucky you're not one of the viewers watching!
• Oh God why did they need to spoil the identity of the old woman right in the first scene?? Okay, I know there is a chance of someone NOT being able to tell who it was until the third part, but goodness, the way it's all paced makes it totally obvious!! >: Was the old woman's role this elaborate in the manga? How the hell did she find a place to stay and relive her life in that short a time span??! .... it didn't stop making this episode incredibly sad though. ;____;

You know, looking back at Chapter 399, I have to wonder: was Kyouka ever supposed to be a threat? This wiki keeps talking about how she defeated Minerva, even though there is no indication of a battle. And she gets overpowered by someone she'd been torturing the second the victim is free.

I'm also having a hard time seeing her as a One-Man Army like the other Nine Demon Gates. Silver could freeze an entire village of giants and a Dragon spirit, Jackal can blow shit up, Tempester creates natural disasters and can turn himself into a chemical weapon as a last resort, Franmalth can absorb people and magic without limit and use it against his foes, Torafuzar's Tenchi Kaimei has a wide range and drowns and/or poisons its victims while he can swim freely around it to speed up their deaths, Ezel has Sword Beams capable of messing up an entire town, Seilah can make her opponents kill each other with a glance, Keith can strangle his opponents in his mist form and then use their corpses against their former allies...

Kyouka... gets some vague enhancement... pain enhancement that requires physical contact... and Wolverine Claws (which are present on another character who doesn't exactly vouch for their usefulness).

she might be able to Feel No Pain which allows her to go on for quite a while even if heavily injured.she was slammed by what usually is a finishing move and was fine.

Let's hope Erza managed to capture one of Kyouka's socks. We know the fatal weakness of characters with long claws, after all.

oh yeah,and she made Erza ditch the Nakama pants.last time that happened was vs Minerva,with the Anti Magic armour.

When's the next chapter coming out?

So, I've started reading the beginning of the Tarturus arc, and right now it seems sort of terrible.

That thing with Happy surviving that explosion that was supposed to wipe out a city with just singed fur and an afro was ridiculous and Tarturus seems like a joke.

Does it get better or should I just not bother?

It has it's ups and downs.

But I'd say that that was probably the lowest point.

Episode 200:

• So that's what became of Ultear. But she ain't dead. But her time's kinda short regardless. Hmm... I suppose it's kinda sad that she's already out of the game... Poor Meldy. And Gray.

I've been meaning to read Zero and Ice Trail. As one who isn't reading the manga right now, should I? Well, I may be reading them regardless...

Another thing, what was the point of Gildarts "teaching" Natsu that it's okay to be afraid sometimes and sometimes you need to retreat if the writer is never actually going to have Natsu, or anyone in Fairy Tail for that matter,do that when it actually makes sense?

He was trying to give the illusion of Character Development without the character in question actually utilizing it.

He should have given him actual character development instead.

Of course with a character like Natsu he'd have to forego any subtly and beat us over the head with it, otherwise no one would believe he'd learned anything, but still.

Oh yeah, that 'lesson' that G-dartz tried to teach Natsu amounted to jack shit.

In fact, it revealed that Natsu is/was an egotistical douchebag (he was more concerned that someone other than himself would be the one to kick Hades/Grimoire Heart's ass)
