I'm not trying to, no.
So... Mahou Shoujo Jesus with JRPG Spiky-haired Jesus.
I ship it.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Never seen Madoka, but... it is a cute picture.
In less warm fuzzy inducing news... in replaying some of the games again, I've come to the conclusion that Birth by Sleep has the most frustratingly annoying final boss battles in the series. Young Xehanort and the Nightmare Armor had nothing on Venitas and Terranort.
Kyubei preying on Xion?
Now that is a scary thought.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I dunno if it counts as a final boss battle, but I've found the second fight against Ansem in 3D to be the hardest required boss battle in the series.
Mainly because while the Terranort battles were difficult, I found them a lot easier on later playthroughs once I knew what to do. But Ansem in 3D has been ridiculously hard every time I've fought him.

Welcome to th:|Protip: Darkness -themed deck for Riku. Seriously, if you don't have at least Dark Aura and Dark Splicer/Dark Firaga on Riku, you are doing it wrong.
Unless you simply don't have them, in which case: get them.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI didn't necessarily mean they were the most annoying just because they were the hardest, just that they're... annoying. The least fun of the bunch. Although I had very little trouble with second Ansem, much to my own surprise.
In Venitas's case, it's because there's either an irritating gameplay change at the end that makes it harder than it ought to be right when you're at the edge of victory, or because the camera seems generally determined to screw you over moreso than usual.
In Terranort's case, it's either because he has all my strengths without being subjected to the same minor limitations that nonetheless give him a huge edge, or because he can avoid so many attacks in such an outright cheap way that it saps a lot of the fun out of it.

Yeah, Terranort is basically Square realizing how broken Second Chance + Once More + Leaf Bracer is, and scaling the final boss to it.
I wish I had his Dark Sonic Impact.
I have a message from another time...Terranort would not have been as bad if it wasn't such a chore to hit him, and if he wouldn't stagger to blocking his combos when he felt like it.
Or if he wasn't capable of blocking retroactively.
Aside from Dark Sonic Impact spam, that was the thing about him that cheesed me off the most. When using Counter Hammer/Counter Blast, he wouldn't flinch from it... apparently because he decided to block, noticeably after I already attacked.
Nah, Terranort is one of my favorite boss battles in the series. I love duel bosses.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Mirror Boss is also a good descriptor.
I have a message from another time...Sora x Madoka thing was cute.
I still don't ship it over Sora x Kairi, though.
Or over Sora/Namine.

So I watched Dumbo the other day and had an idea.
Kingdom Hearts III Secret Boss: Tetsuya Nomura and his legion of Pink Elephants.
Attacks consist of convoluted plot lines, zippers, and belts. Lots and lots of belts.
(Okay. Perhaps that was a bit much.)

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheySo for the first time ever, I've beaten Phantom. I almost beat him a few times, but he would wipe out my party. It turns out I was doing it wrong since I took Donald instead of Goofy (Goofy has MP Gift.) and I stocked Sora with nothing but Ethers, Elixers and a Megalixer. Peter Pan had Hi-Potions when I needed them and I lost no one due to Doom.
I can't believe I never beat him before on the PS2 version of Kingdom Hearts. Now if only I could defeat Kurt Zisa before he killed me with his spinning blade death before I could heal. I also finally got all of the Arts from the White Mushrooms and I have the Dream Rod and Shield due to beating Phantom and getting Stopga. At this point, they're kind of moot though.
I also managed to get Xemnas down to half health before he took everyone out and I got Game Overed. He's quite interesting to fight.

“I was thinking that work is like fertilizer in that I’m glad it exists; I just don’t ever want to get stuck in it."From that article:
The game developers should heed the words of this man when it comes to adapting movies to worlds.
someday we will foresee obstaclesThat's actually pretty interesting. I'm not sure what I would have thought of it, but using the actual backgrounds from the movies... I mean that would have been pretty cool.
I actually thought about what I said a while back about not wanting SDG to go through movie plots, but I think I'd be fine with it, if they didn't change it or abridge it so much. You know, keep the movies epic. Or have SDG mostly do their own thing and imply that the stuff that happened in the movie is happening around them. I mean, would you guys really mind if most of the time they just say what they say according to the movie script? I don't know.

I just really think it's lazy that they adapt the movie plots directly for Kingdom Hearts. I mean, the whole purpose of using those characters is to invoke nostalgia, right? So why are you directly recreating the events of the film like we don't already know how this goes.
I'd rather they tried to do something like Dissidia, where the plot is new, but there are tons of little references that fans can appreciate when they look closely.
Would it surprise you guys that the current generation that the games are for(10+)haven't seen the original movies? There was a poll looking at what movies kids were shown by their parents and the original Disney movies were all at the very bottom of that list from what I remember. The newer ones were all at the top along with stuff like Star Wars(which surpised me since it isn't as big a thing in Sweden as it is in USA).
I had to explain to my little sister what movies Winnie and Bambi were from when she watched me play KH 1.5HD(I went out and loaned the old movies from the store the next day).
