Man, the iteration of that phrase in 3D was amazing.
"I know the keyblade didn't choose me. And I don't care. I'm proud... to be a small part of something greater. The people it did choose. My friends. They are my power!"
Chills, man.

I have a message from another time...Yeah, that and the scene where he meets Roxas again and receives his memories are my two favorite Sora scenes in the game.
someday we will foresee obstaclesOh yes, that scene was really heartwarming, and a great callback to coded.
I have a message from another time...Heartwarming from one perspective, damn depressing from another. When you consider how adamant Roxas was about his right to exist in KHII, then see him here...
And then for Sora himself to say "no, you're your own person, and deserve to be."
I have a message from another time...@ Ichigo Neko: Kairi fanclub?
I loved how Sora was so adamant about Roxas and the others having the right to be their own people, and when he met Xion, I was so happy, even if they didn't speak. That tear to remind of us of her tragedy... But Riku definitely shined the most here.
Thank you for being you. Sometimes, that's all someone needs to make it through the day... someone like you.x3 That definitely hurt. It's like he'd totally lost his independent streak. It was depressing, seeing him that resigned to his fate.
Which, of course, only made it more heartwarming for Sora to insist otherwise. :) And if the series track record is anything to go by, there'll be a way for Roxas to exist on his own again. Xion, too.
Have I mentioned that Sora is my favorite? I mean, sure, he's annoying sometimes, but everything else makes up for it. Although by this point, I've become attached to almost everyone. Following something for this long will do that to you.

I've become surprisingly attached to Terra myself. Sure, he's a gullible idiot for trusting Xehanort, but then all the good-guy Keyblade wielders in Birth by Sleep firmly grasp the Idiot Ball at one point or another. And considering how much the series stress that Heart Is an Awesome Power, Terra stands out as the guy who, even with his heart taken over, still manages to fight back through sheer willpower... and even serving as a rare heroic example of The Power of Hate.
But Sora's still very entertaining and awesome in his own way.

@Wallflower: Hi, nice to meet you! You seem like a very nice person.
I didn't really like how Roxas seemed to just accept being in Sora. I feel like Roxas was very flat in 3D. I did, however, love how Sora said that Roxas was his own person.
On a side note, my favorite Sora scene is when he said that Nobodies have hearts, and he knows that because of Namine, Roxas, Axel, and Xion. "You have to have a heart... to cry!"

My favorite Sora scene is when he causes Xigbar to actually lose his cool for a moment. Other than when he (or Braig anyways) got pissed at Master Xehanort in Birth by Sleep, I don't think anyone has ever done that before.
I love how in the Japanese version Xigbar basically pulls a Screw This, I'm Outta Here because of it.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. He basically does that in the English version, too. "Xemnas! He's all yours!" *ollies outie*
I have a message from another time...That was one of the best scenes in the game, really.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!This year marks 10 years since the first Kingdom Hearts title was born, and now with the time ripe it is being remastered in HD. Let's peruse the content from these screencaps and an interview with director Mr. Tetsuya Nomura!
―Please tell us the details of how the release of KH -HD 1.5 Re MIX- came to be.
Nomura: "All the titles in the series so far are a collection, first establishing the internal set-up, called the 'Seeker of Darkness Chronicles' (*), and I wanted to bring together the whole story arriving at KH 2 before we turn to its conclusion."
―There's strong meaning behind going over it again, isn't there. Will there be changes or additions to the content of the games?
Nomura: "The two titles that are included as games will have trophy support. We intend to include an extensive range of trophies, from the more orthodox to ones that won't go down easily. Also, the controls in KH 1 have been modified to be a little closer to the ones in KH 2. We've also replaced some of the models of the main characters with the most recent ones."
―Why are you remaking KH 358/2 Days as a video volume rather than a game?
Nomura: "Actually, I had also been thinking about doing a full remake like KH Re:Chain of Memories (hereon KH Re:Co M). However, if we had started that it would have considerably delayed starting work on the new title, so it ended up being included in the form of something like the 'theatre mode' that we already have in the series. We are changing 70% of the main story into cutscenes, with freshly-recorded voicing too, and we are currently working on around 100 scenes. If you watch from start to finish, you will know and understand the story of KH 358/2 Days. Though it's in a different form than the game I think people will enjoy it."
―Can you please tell us a little more about the series-first KH game for PC browser?
Nomura: "This is not a title with an emphasis on story, but we are working premises in. That said, for the first time in the series you can enjoy the content completely separately from the main series, so even beginners to the series might be able to be at ease playing it. The battling is different again from KH Re:Co M, and we are aiming for something with simple controls and flashy movements. I think customising is important to this type of game, so we are filling it with new elements in that area."
―By the way, what of a HD version of KH 2 and up?
Nomura: "It would be unnatural not to."
Nomura: *Laughs*
―Here's hoping! And now, lastly, a message for the gamers please.
Nomura: "Because the series so far has been scattered over different consoles, I think there have been people who found it difficult to access, with sequels such as KH 2 that might already have come out by the time they came to know about the series. With KH -HD 1.5 Re MIX- you can enjoy the story from the beginning, and in HD quality on top of that, so if you haven't played yet please by all means use this opportunity to do so. I think even those who have already played through the series may make new discoveries regarding foreshadowing of sequels and lines that reference previous lines and such by taking another look at everything aligned in chronological order. I would be happy if this title turns out to be a 'restart' for the series."
*Seeker of Darkness Chronicles... mentioned as the phrase 'Xehanort Chronicles' in a previous interview with Weekly Famitsu, this refers to Xehanort the Seeker of Darkness being the pivot of the whole series. 'Seeker of Darkness Chronicles' is the formal name first used in the project proposal.

I'm still mildly miffed that the remakes won't be coming to the Wii U like the original rumor said.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm perfectly happy with it. I don't want to have to get a Wii U.
anything against it?
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!The original rumor what the it was going to be multi-platform and would come to the 360, PS3, and Wii U. I'm annoyed since that particular rumor was false so, if I want all the new hotness, I'll have to get a PS 3 even though I don't particularly want to. Yeah, there are other games for it that I want but most of them are multi-platform.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!i meant what problem he/she had with the wii u.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!No money, lack of interesting games for her taste, wants to wait for price cut... could be one or more of these things, or other reasons.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!To me, KHIII being on PS 3 seemed like a Foregone Conclusion at the time, so I decided to get one fairly early.
...Of course, having made that decision, actually getting it was another matter. I didn't actually buy my own PS 3 until like a year ot two ago.
Anyway, Versus looks pretty awesome. And this HD collection will probably be good as well.
...Also, found some old stuff. Famitsu interview July 2011
Tetsuya Nomura: "Since I often hear that fans usually like one title in particular, it was a little unexpected to see that Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix was the top and that Kingdom Hearts II ranked second. Birth by Sleep is a subtitle, but since it’s a part of the main series, I’m happy to see that it ranked highly."
The results of the survey show that the part people like most about the series is the story. You are write out the plot for all the titles of the series, so when writing up the story what do you focus on above all else?
Nomura: "Making it “surprising.” While I’m writing out the plot, if things seem that you can predict the outcome on your own, then I think of a different, unexpected development."
The aforementioned survey
•1. PS 3 (2,030 votes)
•2. PSP (1,010)
•3. PS Vita (990)
•4. 3DS (440)
•5. Wii U (270)
PS 3 lead the way, doubling second place PSP. PS Vita and 3DS also played high. Newcomer Wii U also made it in above DS and Xbox 360 (Xbox 360 got 140 votes, by the way). Joining the platform question, Famitsu asked its readers a number of questions about the Kingdom Hearts series. Here are some of the results that Sokuho@Hokanko summarized. List the Kingdom Hearts Games You've Played
•1. Kingdom Hearts 2
•2. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
•3. Kingdom Hearts 1
•4. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
•5. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix

•1. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix
•2. Kingdom Hearts 2
•3. Kingdom Hearts
•4. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
Note: If you add up KH 2 and KH 2 FM, they beat out KH three to one. Favorite Element of Kingdom Hearts

Favorite Character

•2. Roxus
•3. Axel

Of course, that was just a survey from Famitsu, not representative of all the gamers in Japan. Still neat, and interesting, and considering how surprised Nomura was, he evidently thought so too.

Sora's special power is friendship. It's sorta become his catchphrase.
