It's not a spoiler if it's the narrator. It's setting up a Foregone Conclusion.
Never trust a trailer, never trust a preview, and never trust a narrator that tells you someone dies next episode.
All I can say is episode 4 still gives me chills.

I liked how they casually had Shichika reveal that he killed his own father to Togame, yet followed it up with another reveal that caused them not to talk about it at all.
^^ Still the Old Woman hasn't been wrong to date... The Trailer was the one that lied and she wasn't speaking at the time.
^ I guess he killed his father in some kind of Ultimate Move Passing Ritual.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I dunno, they've been characterizing him as the amoral innocent guy who thinks of himself as a weapon. I think it'd be a waste if he didn't kill his father in cold blood without meaning to. Avoiding responsibility by not thinking about it, and all that.
People are shocked by that? I'd kind of taken him killing his father as a given from episode one, isn't that the way it always goes in these kinds of shows?
Also, am i the only one noticing that most episodes seem to have a focus on a different type of fetish?
I mean, we've had an episode with a lot of Foot Focus, one with a lot of Bondage subtext (with hair, no less), the divorce temple... And episode 6, which, aside from the mind control, you probably shouldn't think about too much.
And Togame gets a lot of focus on her butt, too, or am i just imagining that?
It's not surprising, it's just interesting how they're deliberately avoiding talking about it.
What was the exact phrasing of the preview? Those sort of things tend to be carefully worded.
... but in his next fight, he will undergo the experience of killing his own sister.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything."He will undergo the experience of killing his sister."
"Anegoroshi wo keiken suru degozaimasu."

Hm, some wiggle room in 'undergo the experience of' bit.

Maybe, but this doesn't seem like the kind of show that would do that. Also, it's not like it's a Prophecy Twist, it's just a line by the narrator in the previous episode. What are the odds that the viewers would remember the exact wording?
I mean, anything can happen but I'm not expecting it do, and I would be let down if it did. From what I've heard about this series as well as what I've seen, if there's one thing it's not afraid to do it's to kill off a character.
I'm not particularly expecting a twist like that either, I'm just looking for some hope. That's the one character I really don't want to see die.
^ Seconded, she has been build up as a threat far too well. Besides she is awesome, I don't want her to die... wait that's wrong, I don't even want her to lose at this point.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. If we don't kill her now though, we'll waste a lot of potential character development time. Killing her at the end would be meaningless.

It's always possible he just thinks he kills her, she's Aizen level overpowered after all, and she picked up a bunch of Ninpou from the Insect Squad, one of which could Shapeshift.
Seems like a cop-out. Such a development would detract, rather than adding, value to the show.
^Not really. While would be a copout, Nanami is sufficiently awesome that her continued presence would make up for it.
Me, I'm just hoping that they're really going to animate episode 7 in the style of that preview. That was sex on a screen.
Please be gentle with me.I just hope they don't troll us like episode 4... I really don't think they can introduce anybody we would want to see more than Nanami fighting.
On another note, there is something funny I noticed, the two sons of the seventh generation of Kyotoryu, whose names, according to our wiki, mean Seventh Fruit and Seventh Flower, will fight on the seventh episode of the seventh month.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. And Nanami holds the seventh sword they're trying to collect, but i guess that'sa given, considering the episode progression

Note on next ep preview - spoilers/WM Ging for the 7th ep too Well, according to the other wiki - the power of the sword that Nanami holds is to sustain a dead body - so either she keeps the sword (and sticks around) because she gets killed by Shichika OR she's already dead for some reason (or someone else kills her) and then Shichika takes the blade, killing her again.
http://lockescans.blogspot.com - My Air Master scanlation projectThe first thing I thought when watching preview for episode 7 was that Nanami won't die even if she's killed. Bloody internet memes have ruined me!
Machinima in my color model?!Having finally gotten around to watching ep 6 as well - I really need to add Obfuscating Stupidity to tropes for Shichika - he may be raised by wolves, but he's not nearly as stupid as he acts.

So, I believe we need a thread for this delightful series that is airing through this whole year. So lets begin the Wild Mass Guessing, Squeeing, It Just Bugs Me! and just about everything else.
For my part I'm having really bad feelings regarding the old lady that narrates at the beginning and end of the episode. A spoiler warning would be nice!
Still... given all the fear of how even more terribly powerful Nanami is from the 6th episode I have no idea how Shichika will be able to kill her. Also, looks like she joined Himei's side... with an Evil Costume change and everything. I'm guessing the sword Poor, the Evil has something to do with that.
