In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Thanks =)
Now I have to figure out to do with this week off. This is so sudden. I can't even remember the last time I've had an entire week off, goodness...

So I did it. I went back to Seaworld. It's the quickest way to pay the bills over the summer. I'm not going to jump for joy, but at least I'll do what I have to in order to keep food on the table.
It's been kind of a lazy day today. I spent half the day immersed in my Sims 2 files again.
I built a very huge (and detailed) hotel lot, so I kind of feel accomplished. I don't feel good about having to delete/remake one of my Sims families because of a weird visual glitch that caused them to literally have a spine made out of books.
Just don't ask... -smh-
Even when your hope is gone, move along, move along just to make it throughevery day i hate myself a little more
she magnificent my bastard till i complete on her monsterDAY 58 OF THE BLACKOUT SEASON
If things go well, the next Sunday I'll have a period of temporary residence in Florida. I'm unsure what to expect since, while I visited the state twice before, this'll probably mark the first time I try a part-time job. I've warned myself that it can be a very messy, unpleasant job, but hopefully I'll help me get the hang of working outside Venezuela. It certainly won't have anything to do with the career where I got my degree, but..... it's going to be a full lifetime before I can grab a post-graduate course in that area.
Depending on the daily interval of the job and whether or not I'll have Internet access, let alone free time to use it, I may or may not be able to keep editing and posting here. I wasn't able to in my last foreign trip (Mexico, 2014), so if the answer is no it wouldn't be the first time.

The guy who lives on the second floor of my building (I'm on the the third) is moving out, and we really wanted to move in there (the second floor has balcony and backyard access) But he gave it to someone else. As revenge, we've decided to take up tap dancing.
Did they give it to the person who passed you over for it?
Fresh-eyed movie blogWell, the fiancee and I officially became pet owners yesterday. Meet◊ Val◊, the quirky, smart, people loving lab/collie mix we brought home from the shelter.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |The Feast of St. John the Baptist is tomorrow, and my neighborhood is having their yearly festival. There are now deep fried oreos being sold two blocks from my house. This won't end well
I am going to Atlanta on Monday for a baseball game with Cleveland Indians. Then, on Tuesday, I'm gonna head up to the actual city of Cleveland because my grandmother broke her arm during the parade that was happening a day or two ago.
So, I won't really be here on Tuesday since I'll be spending most of the time in a car without internet.
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"Yesterday, my sister had her 21st birthday. Later today, I will shout my mom for pizza
Semester is over and report card recieved! Mostly A's!
I just watched Freaky Friday (2003) last night with an online friend of mine, chatting via Skype as we watched.
Great movie. It did a ton with its premise, with its use of the "Freaky Friday" Flip, that it's the Trope Namer for. A lot of fun with the havoc that a girl with her mother's body and vice versa could wreak. And how much they could improve each other's lives as well as embarrass each other by their inability to totally mimic each other's behavior.

Do I really want to spend $82 on art supplies? WELL, DO I?
Sounds like art supplies in college.
I like to keep my audience riveted.I need a complete restock. My pencils are all nubs and my markers are all missing
I just spend $82. Oh my God I feel so guilty.
Well I have summer job interviews starting next week so hopefully I can stop being a cash-sucking leech. I hate spending money between jobs. :/
-gasp- triple posting. But I'm kinda irritated, so I'm committing the great sin
Fans of popular sports (in the US football, baseball, and hockey) are so spoiled. My sister who’s a huge gymnastics fan, was looking forward to watching women’s gymnastics nationals (essentially the first round of Olympic trials) but NBC Sports (who has the rights to play it) completely ignored it in favor of four hours of NHL drafts. This is the Olympics. This is a big deal. This is the only thing that’s actually shown on TV in the first place. For everything else, she needs to find livestreams, legal or otherwise, sometimes in the middle of the night, and make up proxies in other countries. She gets news through Tumblr and Twitter live feeds. But hockey fans get a four hour block during primetime filled with something that could easily be covered through a live feed. Spoiled rotten, these mainstream sports fain are…
I'm almost done with straightening out my new office. Then tomorrow, I can get to work on my next short story without interruption.
I like to keep my audience riveted.DAY 62 OF THE BLACKOUT SEASON
This morning I went to a dentist to make my first teeth cleanup ever. Since my teeth were relatively clean but with some calculus, some blood-staining treatment was necessary. It felt very agonizing, especially when the instrument was polishing the tips of certain teeth. He also told me that the tilted tooth I have in one of the corners needs to be removed eventually, but there's no way in hell I'm going to do it in the near future.
The teeth, especially the ones in the background, are very sensitive right now, and I've had a difficult time eating because of this (especially the meat during lunch).
Hopefully they'll feel better by tomorrow as I'll have the trip to Florida.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300So my sister's out celebrating her recent birthday with friends, while I look after my mom. I'm annoyed by the fact she doesn't like sausages
Crap, I just dropped my headphones down the stairs. That is the 3rd pair I've gone through in 6 months! Maybe I just need to get headphones more expensive than $20, but I'm scared of breaking those as well
am not good with computer pls halp
Excellent. Best of luck to you. :)
Speaking of dinner, I'm feeling a bit better after my epic meal last night.
