In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Interesting.
Ocado actually give a champagne bottle after your fifth shop, and often have sales on some pretty good stuff you'd not get elsewhere.
... Of course, I mostly say this because I can get stuff from Wales and Provence with ease.
"Did you expect somebody else?"Dammit, Amazon only sells wine. Seeing as how I'm not a 40 year old female, this disinterests me.
Mostly I'm looking for a way to mass-purchase Rumpleminze.
Well, I ordered my rum from Amazon, so...
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerAll Motorola could suggest was a fucking factory reset. Well, I'll do it. All my photos are on Google Photos, and my e-mails are on the internet, so what do I have to lose? The worst that could happen is it not working.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!I just had a message from Yodel saying that they're still waiting to hear from the warehouse and will contact me as soon as they do.
This is the future of technology; being on hold for days straight.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI was browsing Amazon and did not see any rum listed on there. In fact Amazon apparently has a policy to not list any beer or hard liquor.

As of today, I now have Blaz Blue Chronophantasma Extend.
Terumi is way too fun to play as.
Perhaps that's just Amazon.com?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerIndeed. But ordering from the UK would probably cost a bit more than just going down to a local shop. Which I aim to do once I get my new license in the mail. Getting my Texas license switched to a Michigan one. And my Michigan one is gonna have a neat "Veteran" status on it, too.
The state you're in may have something to say about ordering booze online. You can check out FreeTheGrapes.org to see what laws your state might have about shipping alcohol in the mail.
However, their overview isn't quite the best. They consider Indiana a win, but the law there is so convoluted it's pretty much impossible to actually make a legal purchase and most producers won't deal direct to Indiana consumers.
Fresh-eyed movie blogIt's the Man, keepin' the drinking man down.
And if you write to your representatives telling them they need to respect the consumer and allow DTC mail order alcohol purchases, they'll probably send you a boilerplate about how the law that's actually only protecting your local liquor store is totally in your best interest.
Fresh-eyed movie blogWish me luck, the upgrade process (from Win7 to Win10) is go.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisJust saw Disney's Descendants.
Cute. With that High School Musical campiness. I do like the way Dove Cameron sings.
But Kristen Chenowith steals the show, like she usually does. And like Maleficent usually does.
...and the Windows 10 music player is AWFUL.
Seriously, I haven't seen anything this user-unfriendly since OS/2.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI'm probably not allowed to upgrade because this is a school laptop. They took away admin privileges for my year level when some of the other students uninstalled the screen spying program that the teachers use on us. Luckily, most of the students (or at least me and a few others) got Office 2013 in time.

Today is my dad's birthday, so we sat around and ate cheesecake and watched enough Seinfeld to forget that modern TV is shit.
INSIDE OF YOU THERE ARE TWO WOLVES. BOTH OF THEM WANT YOU TO SHOOT ELVIS.After pulling some research, I think I have anxiety disorder.
Man, I wish I could do that kind of universal shopping on Amazon. We Dutch peasants can only order books.
But if you're a dutch peasent, should you not be buying things for your windmill or canal?
"Did you expect somebody else?"Is it because you're all a bunch of clever clogs?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI buy mead on amazon fairly regularly.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'There's a fairly well stocked liquor store near my house that carries my preferred brand of mead.
@ Bisected: And of course, then there are the supermarkets (and Occardo), as part of their online delivery services. In addition, most of the small breweries also have online shops.
However, this may vary according to location.
