I don't think any of us here probably could.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadThe sad part is I know someone who could, but he won't do it no matter how much I beg him.
"All worlds begin in darkness and all so end. The heart is no different."-AnsemYou know, DMC3 is the only game that I didn't feel bad about using a walkthrough almost the entire time simply because knowing what to do doesn't mean do it or do it well.
Then there are the times when you get good at the game and go back to fight one of the bosses and kick their ass so hard while barely taking any damage (if any at all) and you just sit back and enjoy how badass you now feel.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Then there are those other times when you feel you are good enough but you aren't, man you'll feel silly when the boss kills you.
Usually all the bosses were like that. Thus I usually spent time trying to figure out their attacks and where the opening were. I had mixed results.
Once I beat a boss once he becomes easy for me.
"All worlds begin in darkness and all so end. The heart is no different."-AnsemSame.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThe bosses were really sporadic for me. The first time I fought Geryon, he kicked my ass quickly (partially due to my low health from the Jester fight). The second time, I managed to beat him without taking a lick of damage (I felt so awesome). When I fought him again during the Boss Rush, I almost died.
In any given fight, I'll either be able to drive a boss's ass into the ground or will almost die and that's with a Vital Star L).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Strangely I beat Geryon almost easily on my firt try… and he kicked my ass hard in the Boss Rush.

Credo was my favorite boss in DMC 4. Very cool and fun boss.
Ive beaten the game and some of the bosses still give me trouble. Devil May Cry 3 is what I mean.

Nothing to see hereYeah, for the most part, I'm in the same boat as Jamdat and lu. Geryon still gives me some trouble from time to time and the Boss Rush at the end tends to whittle me down and eventually kill me, but once you figure out the basic pattern of a boss, it's not so bad.
It's to be expected of the game's Nelo Angelo expy.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadTry telling that to Vergil boss fight 3 on the harder difficulties. Bastard keeps kicking my arse even though I know what he's gonna do.
Just an example but maybe I just suck at the games.
Well, Vergil's an exception to the rule, but then again, he's Dante's elder twin. It's kinda par for the course.
Besides, DMD is when he starts pulling out Summoned Swords.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadThe first time he whipped them out I got beaten hard. I think Strider must have taught him a thing or two.
Overall I think it's a testament of how good the series is and how much I like it, for the fact that I keep coming back for more despite getting beaten time and time again.

Never tried the harder modes. I suck at them.
Incidentally, I was watching some old Machinima videos, and DMC3 was at the top of their "most frustrating/hard games".
I suddenly feel so proud for beating it.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerSummoned Swords are Ouroborus on roids. They were bad when Nelo Angelo started using them, but Vergil just takes it to a new level.
THEN YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO FEEL A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT!

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerYou will not forget this devil's meanness.

In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin.Foolish, Lu. Foolishness.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadCome on man, give me break. Just get a room you two, please?
Which two?
Vergil is a meaaaaaaaaaanie. Although I was sad for him in 3.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer-Is still playing through 3.-
Why do you refuse to gain power? The power of the modes that are harder.
In our heart, Mr. Ando will always be a penguin.
Good idea! Too bad I can't do it.
