The major joke about Marley is that she's a poor ingenue.

Is there a trope for characters who speak without thinking and end up saying things they regret afterwards ? I'm looking for something to add to his trope page.
Also... Wow. Before, I didn't understand the hate-talk about Finn... Suddenly, I do. Yeah, sure, the writers needed him to hold the Idiot Ball and say such an horrible thing to Sue in order to turn her into a villain again (and I fear the Tranquil Fury she's going to unleash upon them), but I'm afraid to see how they will deal with this in the show : Finn apologized, but Sue has every right to beat him to a pulp after what he said. The problem is, I'm afraid that they will turn this into a Disproportionate Retribution case, and paint Sue as the villain (well, she always was a Jerkass with a Heart of Gold), while potentially a lot of people will sympathize with her over Finn (because what he said was really hurtful - he may be right about the underdog thing, but using her baby - who he called retarded — as an ammo ? That was low). So, well, I fear that Finn won't suffer any consequences for his actions, with Sue's evilness eclipsing the fact that what he said was wrong. Just like what happened with Santana actually. Finn sure was Easily Forgiven.
Oh well. If you're looking for me, I'll be on the Sue team, cheering her up to tear Finn a new one.

Sue is ALREADY a villain again for unapologetically ranking on Unique.
Finn did say it was the wrong word. He was trying to remind her that she just has a child herself who's different.

I agree with you. Sue was being very... "Sue", with her vendetta against Unique. In that regard, "The Reason You Suck" Speech Finn was giving her was totally justified. But, as usual, Finn went too far. Though, you're right, he indeed said that it was the wrong word. As I said, they needed to turn back Sue into a full vilain for this season. Finn just cemented her Face–Heel Turn.

Finn always plays the politically incorrect even when all the people harass him first. Calls Kurt's stuff faggy after Kurt won't stop hitting on him. Outs Santana after she pushes him too far. Calls Sue a bigot and her baby retarded because she is being so SUE.
That's like a once a season thing.

Yes. But that doesn't make him right in using such words. Well, maybe (surely?) I'm biased here, but the fact is that Finn always goes too far when he's angry. Santana was harassing him, but that didn't give him the right to out her to the entire school (and to the entire state - though, no one in the show could have foreseen the consequences, and I do not support Santana, who was incredibly cruel to Finn during the entire episode in question). Sue was acting like her usual Jerk self, but he could have made his point without going as far as to call her child retarded (actually, weren't it for his use of that word, his speech was entirely valid and spot-on). For Kurt... Well, I can't defend Kurt, since his actions towards Finn in the show were really crazy, and Burt actually called him out on it.
It's a little hard to play the Nice Guy when you slip and say such things. Though, in all objectivity, I may be the victim of Double Standard here (were the genders reversed, I admit that I'm pretty sure I would have sided with Finneta in all of these scenarios).

People don't tend to remember all the terrible things that those women say to him cause it's all so rapid fire.
But when Finn comes back with a really strong insult, the episode stops to say "Gasp! How could you Finn!"
But I guess it's a big job to be the "insensitive hero", I couldn't play a role like that. ;p
Not having seen the episode, but this context makes Finn seem worse here than in the other issues. With Theatricality Kurt was very clearly full of shit. And even with Santana last season at least it was simply personal - Finn attacked her and just her, as a response to her repeated bullying.
Here, however, he attacks Sue's child rather than Sue herself.
I'll probably easily forgive him, though, as I do usually. Not because he fucks up less than the other characters, but because the fandom tends to give him a lot more shit than with the other characters.

That's why it's even more "how could you?"
But you're better informed when you see it first. ;p
I felt sad that he used the R word. Sad for Sue. He knows better, doesn't he?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyWait, this guy actually called a kid retarded? I hope he gets a beatdown some time in the not-too-distant future.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatLike I said above, I really want Finn's face to get smashed in now.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWell, he did already apologize for outing Santana... It's almost inevitable that he'll be called out for using the r-word, though.
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.Apologized and did everything that was humanly possible to minimize the damage, I should like to add for everyone who acts like he's some mega Karma Houdini there.

Called out, nothing. I want fists flying. We're way past the stage where diplomacy is the answer.

Hey, this is a high-school drama, isn't it? Frankly, when you say something like that about a teacher's kid, to the teacher's face, you've kinda crossed the line.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThis really isn't gonna get let go anytime soon, is it?

Nope. There are some things you just don't say, and Finn said one of them. And I'll bet you a fiver that's going on the C Mo A page by tomorrow night.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatIf you don't mind me asking, is this a personal thing for you, or do you just really hate slurs in general?
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.@Haldo Politically, it's an incorrect tactic.
Though I still take Finn's side. Probably cause I feel so bad for him. But I've been called gay all the time and I've gotten through it.
The best part of the episode was Sue's mean nickname for Marley. "Absolutely stunning, kind-faced, blue-eyed girl."
Can't wait to see if she improves on it.
