As discussed with Ironeye in Ventrilo earlier:
Ridley
- 4BBB
- Legendary Creature - Dinosaur Pirate
- Flying
- BB [or 1BB, or 2B]: Target creature gains Deathtouch until end of turn.
- Exile a creature you control: regenerate Ridley.
- 5/4
So it's the cost of deathtouch granting that's now the big issue.
I go for 1BB. An activated ability that grants deathtouch is dangerous, because your 1/1 can take out any non-regenerative non-First Strike creature. With the older rules, it would've been more deadly.
My FF.net accountYeah, I thought that 1BB was dangerous enough.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.2BB makes it kinda unusable... but that's just me. :p
My FF.net accountToken Evil Teammate
W
Sorcery
Put a 1/1 black Warrior creature token onto the battlefield.
There, now I'm really done.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...How about something modeled after Belkar? Make it hybrid B/G, 3/1, has trample and haste and it has "Sacrifice at end of—"
Wait we already have this as Spark Elemental... .______.
My FF.net accountI thought Belkar referred to that gaining power by paying life thing that you made no wait I should have known that that's an OOTS name this post is now a gratuitous Nanoha reference.
Blaster 3 should totally be a Legendary Aura. When I get around to making more cards. I'm totally missing Erio, Chrono, and other people.
My FF.net accountI dunno, Belkar feels more like an R/G to me...
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...- Miko Miyazaki
- white
- Legendary Creature - Human Samurai
- First strike. Bushido 2.
- All other creatures you control get -1/-0.
- Miko Miyazaki can only block black creatures.
- W: Target creature becomes black until end of turn.
- 3/3
Whatever. Not too serious either way...

My troper wall's now my troper page, yay!2WWWW as casting cost and you're all set.
My FF.net accountBy the way, this is my original Kraid card:
- Kraid
- Legendary Creature - Space-Pirate Commander Fatso
- 5GGGG
- Reach (This creature can block flying creatures.)
- Each non-creature artifact and enchantment is a 0/X creature in addition to its other types, where X is its converted mana cost. They cannot attack or block.
- tap: Kraid deals 7 damage distributed over up to four target creatures.
- UU: Remove target attacking creature from combat; that creature's activated abilities cannot be played this turn.
- Despite its intimidating size and rotund belly, describing its weapons as fingernails and lint makes it depressed.
- 8/8
It's obviously supposed to be in line with the original design of Ridley. Feel free to take it apart completely and rebuild it from the ground up as you see fit. I don't feel like trying to fix it tonight.
Tap deal 7 is OP.
My FF.net account@GMH: I'd think that 1BB is a fine price for that ability. That's the price to kill a creature directly after all, and this way you have to depend on your opponent to block with the one you want to kill.
Made some of my own, though they're pretty corny. I've got a whole bunch sitting on my harddrive waiting for pictures.
In keeping with my obsessions, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann cards. (Given the generator is Falseblue, I'm not sure how long they'll last. I can give a summary if they get wiped.)
And for Top Gear:
White Stig◊ (bugger, forgot to put in stats. White Stig is supposed to be 3/3.)

You are dazzled by my array of very legal documents. Those cards are formatted extremely badly.
How does White Stig have stats without being a creature?
Why does a mono-white have haste?
Why is legendary a sub-type?

Why does an artifact have red mana in its casting cost?
Dear god, at least Ridley looked like a Magic card, this is absolute madness.
WHO IS THIS LOSERWhat's wrong with them other than the last card lacking stats? I thought artifacts could have non-colorless costs.

They've only done it in one block where it fit flavorfully and have stated they don't plan to do it again anytime soon. Artifacts are artifacts BECAUSE they're colorless, it's just part of their essence.

WHO IS THIS LOSERIn order:
- The formatting is crappy because the site used is here and it has some pretty gaping weaknesses; they have no artifact creature option, no legendary option, you can't do tribal spells and so forth. (I downloaded Magic Set Editor like two minutes ago, so if that works a bit less crappily I'll gladly use that one in future.)
- OK, I'll admit that white in the cost of White Stig was cheesy (consider it retconned out so he's a standard colourless artifact creature), but what's not flavourful about red mana in the cost of equipment used by Kamina?
- Occasionally things have abilities they usually don't; there are red cards with first strike, green cards with flying and so forth. Plus, as noted above, Stig is no longer mono-white but colourless.
They usually have a flavor justification in the fluff and and the art itself. You should have the guy driving his car, on the track. Then haste makes sense.
You can have colored mana in the equip cost.

Your points are fair and well-taken. I'll remember them in future.
You are dazzled by my array of very legal documents. Some artifacts have a color cost.
Ruining everything forever.Sorry if I sounded like a dick.
There is only one single instance of a mono-white having haste without it being the result of being suspended. And Akroma also has trample, one of only eleven mono-whites to have default trample. She was just generally meant to be powerful.
^ All of them from Alara block. It fits the theme.

Go with Warrior.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.
