Is the patch going to be released in the UK for the PS 3? I don't hear anything about it.

If your patch isn't downloading, check the online marketplace for a free 700+ MB file. If that doesn't work or if it isn't there, then maybe it is a region thing.

Okay, I've been making myself try out every character for the sake of it and I can usually get each one to some extent but Carl, just Carl, I'm not even sure how I'm suppose to play him. My usual strategy is to try to get the opponent between him and Ada and then try to beat down but Carl's just weak to even do that and it doesn't help that Ada is so slow. Any tips?

Why do I feel like that I am the only one who dislikes Hazama and never considered him a Magnificent Bastard but an overused Smug Snake instead?

So I've been playing Calamity Trigger for a bit now, and I've got just one little question, guys - I have the 360 version, and don't know how to access the Unlimited characters I've unlocked on Arcade Mode. Tapping the left bumper, my Taunt button, doesn't appear to do anything.

Regarding Carl, I've found the best way to use him is to use Ada for attacks of opportunity when the enemy ventures into her part of the screen. Try to learn to anticipate their movements so you have the best attack prepared for when they approach. Carl himself, meanwhile, has an excellent long-ranged poke in the form of his non-directional C attack (the one where he uses the knight's lance) and his B attacks are pretty good too if you want something faster. Also, that attack where he does a dash towards and around the endmy is exceptionally handy for both offence and defence.

Because Unlimited characters are unlocked in Score Attack now.

You can download them instead though.

... now? I don't have Xbox Live. I'm running unpatched, and I've received the messages saying 'Unlimited (whoever} Unlocked'.

Oh, you have Calamity Trigger. OK, yes, you should have gotten the Unlimited characters. Try dicking around with the shoulder buttons, I know you have to hit one of them.

My bad. Derp.

Moving unlimited character unlocking to score attack mode in CS was a dickish move on the dev's part. Evil gits.

Just to check, though, does the shoulder toggle between limited/unlimited, or does it just select unlimited outright?

Thanks Rynnec. I rather like that one, favorite opening so far.

CS vanilla had a nice theme but the cinematic itself was poorly done. CT's was cool.

That is what I have been wondering Risetteer. They don't have a good reason not to.

I don't now why but it felt a tad weird and embarrassing to try out an incredibly mahou shojo character near my sister. Just weird.

I'm starting to wonder WHY Hazama/Terumi hasn't gotten a Danbooru pool of "Everybody Hates Hazama". This guy is basically Kyuubey in humanoid form, why was he excluded? Imagine the funs of everyone beating the crap outta Hazama... What's the difference between him and Kyuubey that he's evading this trait?

He looks a hell of a lot cooler than Kyuubey? Because you can't hate a guy that's so upfront about how big of a jackass he really is?

Hazama is too sexy to hate.

But Kyuubey can be viewed as Evilly Affable like Hazama... so why is he any different?

Because Hazama takes it so far that it somehow wraps around and becomes cool. Think of the Joker from The Dark Knight, he was basically an insane bastard but he took that image so far that it managed to wrap back around and become awesome for many people.

And how was Kyubey any different? They troll people up... If Hazama can use "Look at me, Evil Is Sexy" reason, Kyubey CAN also use the non-human equivalent: "Look at me, I'm a cute Mentor Mascot"
