Tropes that apply to Omega Kross:
- Badass Longcoat: Owns a leather one. Sadly not in wearable condition at the moment.
- Beard of Evil: Has one just like the page image.
- Berserk Button: Religious debates, and being hit with confrontational replies to his posts. Flame wars tend to ensue. Apparently, dissing Mortal Kombat will do this too.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: Possesses above average intelligence and next to no motivation to do anything.
- Cross Player: GO ASS DEFENCE!
- Evil Laugh: Has a tendency to do this in inappropriate situations. Such as that bit in Rambo where Rambo gets on the turret gun. Not helped by his evil laugh being rather loud and maniacal.
- Fan Disillusionment: Considers Bleach dead after the Deicide arc ended, mostly because of the main story that the franchise was built on is now over, but also because of all the AssPulls, ridiculous ShonenUpgrades, Villain Decay, never having a single good guy die, multiple Ressurections of the main character, and because Kubo is now blatantly milking his cash cow franchise by ending his show and then carrying on writing the nonsense Fullbringer arc anyway. Also, Aizen was his favourite character and he wanted to see an even fight, not 'Ichigo becomes the embodiment of Deus ex Machina and curbstomps a freaking Deity'.
- Fleeting Passionate Hobbies: To the point of developing powerful, yet brief obsessions with anything that piques his interest.
- Jade-Colored Glasses: Since the age of 17 or so. Donned a second pair after turning 20.
- Living Forever Is Awesome: He doesn't care what your argument is. If you think death is better than immortality, then as far as he is concerned you haven't thought about it enough. Perhaps compounded by the fact that, being atheist, he has no belief in an afterlife.
- Nightmare Fetishist: Finds many things that others would consider High Octane Nightmare Fuel to either be not scary at all, or even fun to look at. Nightmare Face still affects him however.
- No Indoor Voice: Goes Up to Eleven when drunk.
- Otaku: Pretty much as big a Gaming Otaku as they come.
- Perverse Sexual Lust: For pretty much any Fanservicey Stripperiffic female videogame character.
- Pet Peeve Trope: Two. The Good Guys Always Win and Who Wants to Live Forever?.
- Rooting for the Empire: Nearly always supports the villains in any fictional work. Ties in with his natural cynicism and dislike of stereotypical heroes. Also, everyone knows the villains are the best characters.
- Sir Swearsalot: And he turns the air biue just as much IRL. Of course, everyone he knows is also Sir Swearsalot, so its not a big deal.
- Silly Rabbit, Idealism Is for Kids!: Absolutely believes this.
- Sliding Scale of Idealism vs. Cynicism: Doesn't have an Idealistic end to his scale. It fell off.
- True Art Is Angsty: Yep, believes this one too.
- True Neutral: Type 11. Mainly wishes to be left to his own devices and frequently looks out for himself over others. However, he will help out his family and friends if it doesn't burden or endanger him, Keeping him out of Neutral Evil territory.
Despite it seeming as if he has simply chosen the most depressing, angsty tropes on purpose, this is neither a transparent attempt to be edgy, nor is he trolling. Omega Kross really does think this way.
