^ A little bit too much, yeah.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.^^ Yeah, that borders on It's a Wonderful Failure.
Heck, there are enough examples in the list we could just pick any arcade game at random. Y'know, any image that says "Game Over - Continue? 10...9..."
Wait. Is this what I'm thinking it was?

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Any of the Final Fight game over scenes where the heroes are tied up and facing the dynamite could work as well.
Um, this is about a character.
Pages Needing ImagesWhoops, I was going off the Ninja Gaiden pic and not reading the trope. Nevermind.
^ Yeah, me too.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.If someone has the one from either Cadillacs And Dinosaurs or The Punisher sidescrolling game where the mob leader aims a gun at you (the player) and fiils you with lead when the counter reaches zero then that's a good one for the trope. Yes, I put up those examples.
EDIT: here I have it:
Hope you like it, the best versoin I could get removing some brand banners...
EDIT 23: OK, shifted the markup to left-side (I'm more accustomed to right-side). Now it's working.

Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google? So is this new picture acceptable or what?
she her hers hOI!!! i'm tempeBut is it an example of the trope? The article isn't just about creative Game Over sequences (Ninja Gaiden is a famous example in that department), but a character who appears only during that sequence.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Why not Death from Shadowgate? He's pretty well known, though he's also the image for "Have a Nice Death"
Or why not just crop out the unregistered hypercam 2 part of the original image? Wasn't that the only reason for needing a new image?
Just go with the classic GAME OVER RETURN OF GANON

ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.

Ganon from The Adventure of Link will always be my favourite for this.
Especially since he's barely referenced whatsoever in the game, mostly in the manual.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Seeing as I got the Hyper Cam logo off of it, I say stick with what was originally there. It works, and it's just too funny to pass up.
This thread expired after 60 days of inactivity.
Because we really don't need a page image with "Unregistered HyperCam 2".
Surely the "RETURN OF GANON" screen from The Legend Of Zelda II would illustrate this trope best...
