Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Yep, I did, Raspy Mink.

Turns out it was hidden somewhere that I forgot to check, heh.

On another note, I found a good deal on a PS 4 Slim with Horizon Zero Dawn.

The historical Middlesex County in England can be considered the spiritual home of the sport of cricket.

The current Middlesex County in New Jersey can be considered the birthplace of the sport of (American) football.

Ever notice how people who say they either hate something or claim they don't care about it are the ones who can't stop talking about it?

It's like 102 degrees out there. TOO DAMN HOT.

So I've spent some time doing a painting... I sort of blame my visit to the Art Museum earlier today.

It's 93 here, which wouldn't be too bad if my apartment had AC. But it doesn't, naturally, so I've been dousing myself with cold water every half hour or so.

@Cody: You know, you just described MGTOW - "Men Going Their Own Way". They talk endlessly about how much they don't need women, and won't shut up about it. Yeah, I'm sure they don't need them.

My sister's field hockey practice got canceled because it was so hot today. I mean, it's hitting 101 at times.

It's so damn hot it not only stopped me from going for a walk during my lunch break at work, but also going for a walk at night at home. Nighttime should be cool!

[lol] That makes me picture that Little Rascals style episode of Family Guy where Quagmire and Peter swore off women as kids and wind up wealthy businessmen bragging about how they were successful because they swore off women. Then one of them said he was going to go have sex with a bagel. Actually what made me think to write that was some article on this one site where some guy is bashing crossfit and it seems to me the people who talk about it the most are the people who hate it.

Allegedly the people who actually do crossfit won't shut up about it either, however I have neither kind of person in my regular circles.

Tolkien Otaku, depression is so rude. I'm sorry you have to deal with it, too. Nobody deserves depression, it just happens, it just is. I hope you feel better soon.

So why is the Vocaloid thread just flat out dead?

I played Splatoon 2 tonight and was just having so much fun, both with the cooperative mode and the main battle. I'm impressed with how much great games the Switch has already. I haven't even been playing PC at all since March!

Today my nephew apparently got in trouble for something and isn't allowed any "screen time" the whole weekend. I was told that on the phone when I texted to see if it might be a good day to come over. What to do if there's no screen time? Play outside in the horrible 100 degree heat? Read books? One does not come over to read books together.

Do either of you play board or card games? There's quite a lot of excellent ones out there.

I've never done crossfit but daaaamn some of the exercises they do during the crossfit games are crazy. I can't picture myself being able to do `em even once let alone trying to beat somebody else doing them. I gotta respect somebody who can do that let alone win it.
