Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I try to restrict my actual usage of British idioms to with people who will understand them, but they're definitely part of my vocabulary.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI remember my younger brother and I used to argue about that a lot. He didn't like it when I used expressions and figures of speech that are either from the past or not American. >.>
I like to keep my audience riveted. The British have funnier curse words, actually.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisFound this super yummy-sounding brownie recipe on BuzzFeed. Gonna give it a go tomorrow.
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeI tried doing a mug brownie (aka bake it in the microwave in a safe mug) and it just tasted bleh. It's because the recipe didn't ask for a drop of vanilla extract or a pinch of salt: that REALLY helps.
Hmm, now that I think about it, a mug brownie sounds really good...
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.I found out Adam West is dead. I grew up hearing his voices in cartoons. It's a shame. R.I.P
I am having the worst bad hair day ever. ಠ_ಠ
I'm so tired of everything.

I'm sorry. Can you take a break? Speak kindly to yourself, and only do what you can.
I know that feeling.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Okay, so after checking my physical mailbox, I can out a couple of hours into Overwatch.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I found Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie surprisingly moving. Basically, the message I got from it was "The world is a horrible, miserable place, but with kindness and optimism, we can make it better."
It's been so long since I read the books that I can't remember if they were the same way.
I love Kekeflipnote!

No "Bowser's Fury" questions please. I haven't played it yet. That's not far off from the message of Wonder Woman too, actually.
Actually, more like "things like kindness and optimism make it worth fighting for".

That took awhile to sink in.

Peace in Darkness Steel Beams Don't Melt Dank Memes It's not you who need the system, but the system that needs you.You know, escape rooms would make excellent fronts for human trafficking.
Seriously, people are paying to have you lock them in a room. It couldn't possibly get any easier than that.
The customer/victim's friends and family would likely know that they were planning to do an escape room, providing an easy lead for the cops.
My Jerkass dogs woke me up at 4:00am. They are both getting long walkies tonight, since tired dogs are good dogs.
Silver lining of having no AC in my apartment: I'm motivated to spend as much time as humanly possible studying at my air conditioned school. I'm there like 12 hours a day. Gonna do so well in this class
Why do sheep grow coats that are too thick for them?
People bred them to do that. Same as with all those creepily oversized meat animals.
Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years.I was watching Samurai Jack, and I just realized that his reaction to seeing Ashi naked is sort of like a terrible sex-ed teacher (or nervous parent) trying to explain puberty to their kid
"Well, um...I mean, you know- men and woman are different, and, private things are...personal."
which, granted, was my basic understanding as a kid

Yay, Super Eyepatch Wolf posted a video on Youtube.
Less seats for Tories is always a good thing, not to mention those knob gobblers from UKIP being out of the Parliament.
Also, I'm observing that I'm using more British idioms and phrases when I speak English.
