I try to restrict my actual usage of British idioms to with people who will understand them, but they're definitely part of my vocabulary.

I remember my younger brother and I used to argue about that a lot. He didn't like it when I used expressions and figures of speech that are either from the past or not American. >.>

The British have funnier curse words, actually.

Found this super yummy-sounding brownie recipe on BuzzFeed. Gonna give it a go tomorrow.

I tried doing a mug brownie (aka bake it in the microwave in a safe mug) and it just tasted bleh. It's because the recipe didn't ask for a drop of vanilla extract or a pinch of salt: that REALLY helps.

Hmm, now that I think about it, a mug brownie sounds really good...

Okay, so after checking my physical mailbox, I can out a couple of hours into Overwatch.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I found Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie surprisingly moving. Basically, the message I got from it was "The world is a horrible, miserable place, but with kindness and optimism, we can make it better."

It's been so long since I read the books that I can't remember if they were the same way.

Seriously, people are paying to have you lock them in a room. It couldn't possibly get any easier than that.

The customer/victim's friends and family would likely know that they were planning to do an escape room, providing an easy lead for the cops.
