Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

All the talk about alcohol in the Romance thread got me wondering. Who was it that said wine and cheese go well together?
I like to keep my audience riveted.I have no idea who (I'm going to guess the French because...why not) but there have been studies on it.
I have to return some videotapes. My WallThe French, probably.
Oh really when?Probably the Greeks or the Kartvelian people - both have been major wine producers for thousand of years, and both have had cheese for about as long.
Hell, wine is often thought to have been a thing of the Caucasus before anybody else, and the Kartvelians the first ever producers of it.
"Did you expect somebody else?"Caucasus...that wouldn't happen to be where the adjective Caucasian comes from does it?
Living The Fever DreamIt is indeed. Why it's become shorthand for white people I dunno.
Proper Caucasians aren't usually that white.
Oh really when?Probably because of old ideas that all whites were Christian, and the Armenians were the first nation to have a state church.
The Armenians and Kartvelians both survived the various hordes which came and didn't convert to Islam as some made them do, which is another part of it.

"Did you expect somebody else?"I will be honest, I'm terribly ignorant of world history. I mean I have bits of knowledge here and there, but it's definitely not my specialty.
Living The Fever DreamAll I see is an annoyed anime girl who could be in the age range of 6-14.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI'm not sure if you're serious or trolling with a pic of her being annoyed with anyone who wanted to see her looking cute.
Fresh-eyed movie blogThings you don't want to see when you're only wearing underpants...
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.a feminazi with scissors!
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeAnyone ever hear of Bear Simulator? I'm disappointed it's in first-person perspective. I'd really like to actually see my bear.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!I've never heard of it. I don't think that it's a game I'd enjoy playing, though. I don't think that I'd be able to bear it! YUK YUK YUK

@Bleye: That's a lot of "e"s.
@T Paradox: Have you ever known me to troll?
I like to keep my audience riveted.Let's say it's a bit inspired by Goat Simulator.
There's a lot of these wacky "simulator" games either out now, or being made:
- Goat Simulator
- Yandere Simulator
- Surgeon Simulator 2013
- Bear Simulator (not out yet)
- Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015 Do You Still Shower With Your Dad? (has no works page)
What next? App games (if they even count!) have "cat simulator" and "dog simulator" and "snow leopard simulator", but everyone knows smartphone games are shit.
What more simulators can we have? I'd like to hear your ideas.

Cards Against Humanity Simulator?
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.things like petticoats, bustles, pannier, garter belts, a line skirts, etc.
Though, should it… be worrying if a 9-year old knows those terms?

Rather violent, according to the creator.

Now known as Cibryll.A cartoonish exaggeration "simulator" of someone's life could be pretty fun if it's of a particularly interesting person. Honestly, I think it could be a neat idea for a game, a "simulator" of the life of a person, if it's exaggerated in a fun way.
I read about ancient video games, and it turns out there was actually some kind of "gossip simulator" made in the early 1980s. You say what you think of different people, and see everyone else's opinions. And you could influence everyone's opinions, or get them angry at you (for instance, by saying you like someone who everyone else hates, or vice versa). A ridiculous idea, or good satire?
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!It could be a neat multiplayer Mafia-esque game where your goal is to get the highest popularity out of all the people in the group. Maybe characters can have randomized "dirt" that other players can dig up, and you'd have to figure out which gossip is real and which is fake.
I have seen Rock Simulator and Grass Simulator and I Am Bread (Simulator)...
But I'd like a Dog Simulator and Cat Simulator. And probably more.
Uuuuuuh...Air Simulator.
You are air. Blow around and knock over stuff. Get people annoyed at you. Level up to become a tornado or a hurricane and wreak untamed destruction over the land.
You know what I hate? How robo-callers sometimes use caller ID like "A Friend". Uh, who names themselves "A Friend"? Your actual friend? They won't change their ID just to call you!
While I do think indie games are a massive load of Sturgeon's Law, the really good stuff seems to surface quite often, so it tends to get out there.
I'm glad to see games like these do well. Life is Strange shows that there's a market for woman heroes and games that aren't about killing (uh, kinda, considering there's a lot of death in its story!). And a big market; we're talking about a million seller here. I want the industry to mature and diversify its offerings, trying all sorts of new ideas. And the new ideas tend to come from the indies. Octodad, Gone Home, Undertale, Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015 Do You Still Shower With Your Dad?
Uh, okay, I'm sure that last one won't become a classic anytime soon (yes, it's a real game, selling for $1 on Steam), but still, we are seeing creativity that the big companies are afraid to even try, and I really hope it sends a message to the rest of the industry to try more new things, or throw bigger budgets at more original ideas. I for one am not a fan of the tiny budget of most indie games, but I accept that it's a necessity when no publisher thinks your idea will sell.
