So the new weapon is just a melee reskin? Lame.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.According to Valve it was "too confusing".
Can't really verdict this myself, but it's not the first kind of non-linear map ever introduced (Steel, Hydro, Junction, etc).
Oh fuck no. We waited a year for THIS?

Is it too early to blame everything on Dota?
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Wow. What the fuck?
What about the Engi-Spy stuff? What about the competitive matchmaking?
I wasn't expecting...well, I guess I was expecting more fucking hats, but a single weapon that's just a standard melee wep? And the weapon looks nice, but, might as well use anything else. What squandered potential.
I haven't seen the short yet.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."Valve is sitting on $33 million from TI4...
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Jesus, this is why I hate MOB As in the first place. Nothing but a waste of everyone's time, and I mean everyone.
Literally all we got were a bunch of cosmetics, a kiddie pool for pyro, and a melee reskin.
Is my oncoming bout of Angrish justified yet?
The video was good (anything with Scout being competent is always a plus), but the update itself was a huge disappointment.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The video creator's statement on the update.◊
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!I'm just so fucking sick of cosmetics. Get your shit together valve.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceMan, it sucks that the map isn't ever going to be (officially) out...
... However, I'm crazy over this duck hunt, even without the Duck Diary.
Honestly, Valve has been pretty much dropping the ball on a lot of things lately, not just in TF2 but in their other games too.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!On top of everything else, from what I've already seen these seem to be really, well, bland even for cosmetics. A lot of the older/current stuff looks a lot better for the most part.
Traded some scrap for keys and got a strange cosmetic out of it at least, maybe I can trade it down the road for steam funds or something.
Wow, this is... rather lame. The SFM was okay, but has NOTHING on Expiration Date. It just felt like your typical fanmade action-y SFM, but longer. And there's pretty much nothing to be excited for as far as game content goes, it's one reskin and a bunch of cosmetics.
Though I honestly never saw the reason for all the hype in the first place. The original trailer didn't really evoke excitement from me or anything.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I think the "promise" of new weapons was the reason for the hype.
I make video games! Or plan to, anyway. It's more than just that. It's been touted for over a goddamned year that it was - at the very least - going to be this new and interesting community content related stuff.
All we got was a fucking re-skin and samey looking winter cosmetics.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceAlso out of all the SFM shorts out there, this was the one that got Valve's attention from a trailer, so people were thinking this was gonna be good. Nope. This isn't the only site that's mad about this. People are outraged everywhere. Valve really fucked up.
The short should've just stayed a short. I've seen a lot better SFMs out there. This thing was overhyped and suffered for it.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Maybe it's a challenge from Valve. They want to see if their fans are domesticated wallets. People flipped their shit about L 4 D 2, but I haven't seen anything about these latest developer idiot balls.
"How much will you let us get away with, TF 2 fans?"

This place is careless.Someone mentioned earlier about the "lack of" Spy vs. Engie stuff and I'm pretty sure that was confirmed to be an entirely different update, not this one. No need to soil yourself that badly.
I definitely think the update was overhyped but I wasn't sure what to expect from the in-game stuff to begin with, so, I guess I'm not... disappointed? Mostly I thought the video itself was sort of meh, and I didn't think anything big was going to happen in-game except for maybe a new map. Which, I guess that did happen, but apparently the map is too bad to make it on official Valve servers. Ah well. What can you do.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorConsidering what we heard about it, the End of the Line map mode would have blown chunks anyway. You can't do a map about an out of control freight train at the size TF 2 maps are made at. Their only options with that would be an official port of tf_convoy, or like I said before a TF 2 version of SonicTheHedgehog2006's level 'Radical Train', which nobody would have wanted. We got a pretty good SFM movie out of it, even though Medic seemed a little prickly and Heavy a little thin-skinned compared to the usual acerbic banter between the mercenaries, and I'm fine with that.
Desperate for feedback, please visit Troper Page for links! So wait, what exactly happened in this update?
Is this a Jo Jo reference?Nothing, which is why we're so upset.
Or, to be more clear, everything that we were told was happening was scrapped.

I didn't really see too much of that there.
Apparently the map wasn't good enough to be put into the update. I'm guessing a similar issue happened with the weapons. Unfortunately, everything on the page is all we're getting.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!
