When I return from my extended hiatuses, I'm considering changing my style to be a bit more like "[In Which I Watch] Sailor Moon" (minus, of course, the illustrated recaps), but I'm not sure if ShadowJack's style works as well when it's not being done from the beginning. I know what I've been doing so far leaves something to be desired.

I'm considering liveblogging Magic Knight Rayearth after I finish The Art of War. It would have to be done with the understanding that I hate CLAMP and this is their last chance to give me something I like.

Unless you're into old school styled RP Gs, I really don't recommend it. I love Clamp and RP Gs, but hate that game.

On that note, my friend and I have both realized Etrian Odyssey 3 is going to be eventually hitting state shores and that we have yet to beat EO 2 (life and what not), so we wanted to have a race, from the beginning of the game to the end (Stratum 6 may or may not be included in that depending on the size of our egos and how much pain we enjoy). Would anyone be interested in a live blogging of two guys racing to beat an old school styled Nintendo Hard RPG with a finite amount of play time each day?

EDIT: I might mention, he's a member of these forums, just not typically seen in these parts.

I'd be interested in seeing a race.

Manga or anime of Rayearth? 'Cause if you're in America, the anime just got put on Hulu.

Two things I'd like to see done:

Anime. That's good that it's on hulu too because it's easier to liveblog when you're watching it on the computer.

OH YES. Etrian Odyssey 2 The Liveblog. I would read that. I would read that with a vengeance.

I've still got my Medieval Total War blog to deal with, but I sometimes find that I actually work better when I've got a few projects to do at once. I've got The Last Remnant and I'm getting Disgaea 1 soon. Is anyone interested in a liveblog of either?

EDIT: I'm currently in the middle of a One-Man Army challenge in The Last Remnant and one is planned for Disgaea, so those options are open.

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.

Disgaea. If you're getting Afternoon of Darkness, do that version. I personally like Michelle Ruff's Etna voice better than Amanda Winn's...but that's just a matter of preference.

Good to know, expect it to start in a couple of weeks once testing is over.

Someone Let's Play Kallisti. Mind-bogglingly narmful erotic interactive fiction. I'd do it myself, but yeah.

I just bought some new games for my PSP, thinking of liveblogging them. They are as follows -

Star Ocean 2: Second Evolution - played before, don't remember much
Jeanne D'Arc - never played
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops - have played a little bit in
Metal Gear Acid and Acid2 - never played
Tales Of The Radiant World - just started
Wipe Out Pure - never played
Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles - just started
Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions - played original, got to final dungeon

I'd prefer to liveblog one that has more of a storyline than "do this mission, do that mission", but I'm gonna leave it up to the tropers :D

Star Ocean looks good, and you can have Tropers choose your character's ending partner.

On the other hand, I'm interested in Jeanne D'Arc.

I barely got through the first disc when I played Star Ocean 2 the first time, so I have no clue what you mean by ending partner xD
So that might be a great choice, especially since they seem to have made massive updates.
I, also, am interested in Jeanne D'Arc. It is rated very highly.

You can pair up your MC with pretty much almost everyone, depending on affections, PAs and something or other. All I know is it's Guide-worthy.

But I do hear good things about Jeanne D'Arc...it appeals to me, that's for sure.

Do we have to post what we're liveblogging here before we liveblog them, or is it just idea sharing and reccomending?

Because I got like, 7 I think, I wanna do so much.

It's idea sharing and recommending.

Well, technically, you can start a topic whenever, but it's usually a good idea to ask around here if people have any preference as to what they want to read about, in which case, you should put all 7 of what you're thinking of here and see what people say.

I am not likely to do a proper liveblog / Let's Play for a while. However, if I do, it is likely to be one of the following:

  • Phantasy Star IV
  • Rocket Knight Adventures
  • Hero Core

I would try to restart my MINERVA mod LP, but there's that little problem of it running like crap under VM Ware and there not being a Mac version of Half Life 2 Ep 1 yet.

Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit.
