It's been a while (I am really behind with a lot of the manga I am reading) but it definitely has its moments with mood whiplash. From what I remember though it probably isn't one of the worst I have seen.

@physical: They are from Psycho Pass.
So apparently Guillermo del Toro is a fan of {{Manga/Pluto}} or is planning on reading it (he liked my tweet). I'm not really surprised since his media taste seems mostly impeccable and he was already known to be a fan of manga/animu, but it was nice to get any kind of recognition from him since he's one of my favorite film directors :'p

I came across this manga called Servamp. Has it gotten an anime adaptation?
Yes, it was announced a while back.
How much back?
The anime is due in July
Huh .And here I thought I discovered a buried needle, as it were. :D
So Yo Kai Watch is now on Netflix. The Cartoon Network Asia dub which is way worse than the US dub.
It also has a Japanese language track but no subtitles...
Why would they put the CN Asia dub on there? For US audiences, no less? Is it a mistake?
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. It isn't as heavily censored as the US one which is a plus, but Japanese track but no subtitles what so ever. It does feel like it is a mistake or at least an incomplete upload.
I would actually watch it if it had subs >.>
Been reading Real (kinda surprised we don't have a trope page for it, but whatever). I wasn't able to get into it at first but in my defense I didn't really try very hard. Overall it's pretty good, I don't really care for sports manga but the themes are pretty great and obviously the art is magnificent since it's Inoue.
Why can't they just put the Disney dub on there?
@wermacht: Seen Ping Pong? It's another sports series that I think would be your jam. The actual ping pong in that series kind of takes a backseat to the inner struggles of its players, what the sport itself means to each individual, the depths they will sink, the summits they will reach, and so on and so forth.
The one potential turn off in that series is the art; which is a kind of sketchy, rotoscope-ish deal that can get a bit butt ugly at points.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018i've seen ping pong and really enjoyed it, but I've been putting off finishing it. I'll probably just watch it from the beginning and just finish it sometime.
Trailer for Kyoani's Koe no Katachi.
A singer who performed a song for Digimon Tri passed away.
He was 42.
I'll give you one friggin guess what he died of. -_-
.....God Damnit.
Watch Symphogear... If it's not overwork, alcoholic poisoning, or depression-induced suicide, I'm stumped. What was the cause?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Kouji Wada, the singer in question, was struggling with throat cancer for the last few years. That he was able to come back with a new version of Butterfly (the OP for Digimon Adventure) for tri is a wonder in and of itself.
So it was the cancer that finally did him in.
Damn. Did he smoke, or was it one of those "exact cause is unknown" cases that can randomly pop up in anyone?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I have no knowledge of him being a smoker. Not that this couldn't have been a cause but I've just nothing on it either way.
So Battle Girl High School mobile game is getting an anime
Normal girls vs alien invaders that armies can not fight. Standard anime.
... So, how do they fight the alien invaders?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Ugh, is the Mood Whiplash really as bad as the page says? God I hate those series that use that to the extremes.
