I can confirm that the site was up at 6:05 PM EST yesterday.

They just tweeted saying they're doing maintenance about an hour ago.

My research suggests that's from a series called Youre Under Arrest. No idea which anime; it seems to have several.

On another note, does anyone know what the following means? I've seen it in one doujinshi, and couldn't make sense of it:

Now, the question that I referenced previously:

I vaguely remember having coming across a piece of anime-style artwork in the depths of the Internet a few years ago, depicting a girl with a bunny-eared headband (and either a bunny-themed outfit or a maid-style dress) that was wielding a huge (as in, at-least-three-times-the-girl's-own-body-mass huge) combined machine gun-flamethrower-rocket/grenade launcher-probably several other weapons that I forgot Swiss-Army Gun. Unfortunately, I seem to either have lost the image from my drive at some point (it's been more than a couple of years since I've last thought about it) or had forgotten to save it to computer in the first place when I first saw it. If anyone knows the image that I'm talking about and where it can be found, I'd be most grateful.

x3: I hate it when things get like this. If it's anything like the MGA Vs. Mattel case then us anime fans are about to enter a Dork Age...

I am still ignoring this in the hopes everything will be okay in the end. That, and I'll get paranoid if I think of the worst case scenario (see: Bandai stopping production).

Speaking of Bandai, has anybody licenced Hyouka yet? I think I missed something about the Nichijou licensing too or has nobody done that either?

Nope, no one has touched Hyouka. Ditto with Nichijou (and for that matter, Gosick) after Bandai dropped the license. But it was a sleeper hit last year, so it's likely to be rescued sooner or later.

Hopefully we'll see Funi get all three (Or Sentai, but not Aniplex...).

Bandai is still producing the stuff they licenced and dubbed/translated before right? I still need the 2nd Eureka Seven novel.

I hope they get Stephanie Sheh to play Chitanda if Hyouka gets dubbed, I can just imagine her going "I'm curious!"
