Now here's an anime dub I'm excited about — we have the full dub cast for Fractale!
WHERE IS MY INDEX DUB?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial>Excited for Fractale

You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!New manga... anything interesting... Let's check out this Sai Taker Futari No Artemis... Wait a min, this sounds/looks like a sequel to Re Birth The Lunatic Taker. Wonder where it is going... *gets to page 41 of chapter 1 (there is a chapter 0 before it)* Yep. Definitely by the same author. It has already gotten the "W*TF is this going" reaction from me and has more sexual hijinks than his other series. Don't think I'll be reading this particular story by that author—It is throwing the extreme T&A at me before I become invested in the characters and overall setting (which are what keeps me reading some of the other ones).
It could have saved that "surprise" until after the setting is finished, well, being set up. Then I might have continued reading it.
For those that want an idea of what it does, it is some of the original ideas/setting from Re Birth The Lunatic Taker, one of the main plot points of Kampfer, and the "magic-with-devices-in-a-school-setting" basic plot (Maken Ki comes to mind) stirred together with an extra dose of sexuality/sexism. As impossible as that sounds.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie! Finally got to (legally; Funi put it up for streaming) watch the Trigun movie! Yes, it's basically an extended episode of the show before everything went to hell, but it's still a fun ride.

Just out of curiosity, do you ever watch anything by Pefectly Legal Means*?

Watching Infinite Stratos.
This show must rot your brain. I'm sure this show doesn't have any redeeming features. It's certainly not deep.
Surprisingly though I am still watching it. I think I'll even finish it.
Just a question, why is everyone so sure that only girls can pilot IS units?
I mean, the first guy who accidentally touched one managed to fly it. Test more guys maybe?
The real problem? Why the FUCK is it only for girls? WHY? Does the author have no fucking clue on how military works?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I know it's bad enough that I'm trying to bring logic into it when they have a security system that locks everyone inside the building when it's being targeted, but bringing the real world into this? That's just uncalled for dRoy
Normally, almost all fiction needs to fuck some reality up in order to some of the plot possible.
But this is just preposterous.

Pokémon (though I do watch the dub as well of course). Currently watching Cardcaptor Sakura with I think official subs that are waaaaay out of print, so I know I'm cheating there (I'm letting myself get away with this because I watched the severely cut down Kids WB broadcast when it aired).
Nope, literally just got reprinted in Australia, so people can easily just import them if they have anything to play foreign discs.
RE Infinite Stratos: IIRC it's noted in-story that when it was first invented, only women were able to make the tech work, which henceforth shifted the gender-equality balance in women's favor worldwide as I.S. tech spread. It probably runs on some unmentioned phlebotinum that only works for women and a very rare few guys.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus....and then the societal changes aspect is thoroughly ignored in favor of harem hijinks for most of the series—it might have come in again after I stopped following the story.
The basic set up itself cannot be explained through anything other than an excuse to surround Ichika with girls (and a teacher).
That is called bad writing.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I'm not sure why you have high expectations in the first place.
I didn't. I watched several episodes because I was really bored back then.
Honestly, the premise is so preposterous that it almost offends me.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Getting upset over a blatant excuse plot seems silly. I mean, isn't it obvious what the show is?
Frankly, that kind of thing only tends to upset me if a show has a great premise and then does nothing interesting with it.
It is not just the premise itself that irritates me. Multiple targets are involved.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. Is it really so bad?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer@lu - In my opinion? Yes.

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.
